Howdy, folks! I’m Mando, and no, I wasn’t named after that cool dude in shiny armor. My name is a bit more…musical. 🎶
You see, I’m told I have a very melodic howl, kind of like a mandolin, but way more woofy. I prefer to think of it as my signature song. My time was running out at a rural shelter, and they did everything they could to avoid having to euthanize me for space. We were so happy we could step in to help save Mando, and we are incredibly grateful for the shelter's dedication and effort. 🙌
I’m about 5 years young and weigh in at a solid 65 pounds – all muscle, ready for adventure! I have gotten along great with just about everyone. Dogs? Cats? Tiny humans? Bring ’em on! I’m a social butterfly, or, you know, a social dog. 🐶
I’ve got two advanced degrees: one in Housetraining and another in Crate Training. That means I know where the appropriate place to do my business is, and I’m perfectly content to chill in my crate when needed. Think of it as my personal relaxation chamber. 👌
Before I head off to my fur-ever home, I’ll be fully vetted. I’m getting the whole spa treatment – they're taking my 🥎's, giving me shots, doing check-ups, the works! 🥰
Thank you so much for your support in the Fundraiser earlier this week that allowed us to pull the three dogs we intended to pull AND two more dogs who were also at risk. There may be another surprise tomorrow....stay tuned! 🤭
