- Almost 10 weeks old and the RaineyRose Decker x Oaklee DOB 2/6/24 litter have all found their forever homes - We asked each family for a couple pictures of the kids at their new homes with their new humans and pet siblings!

#1 F Clarke - now Marley (Dani and Mike W & Family)
#2 F Octavia - now Athena (Alessio M & Parents)
#3 F Raven - Raven (Ricky I & Family)
#4 M Bellamy - now Bo (Colton, Shannon & Jo W)
#5 M Murphy - Murphy (Kristine W & Family)
#6 M Lincoln - Lincoln (Bryar and Tyler -staying with mom)
#7 F Emori - now Sadie (Robert & Jen D)
#8 F Echo - Echo (Alex I & Family)

6 pups are staying right here in Citrus County, Raven is in Brooksville and will be growing up going to a Barbershop everyday just like her dad and this is just by coincidence and #2 Athena has moved to Miami and will be living city life with her family who has always had rat terriers.

We will keep you posted with puppy updates and we appreciate everyone who has watched these pups grow along side us!

7 weeks old and 5 of these 8 pups will be headed to their fur-ever homes in just one more week. Well, hopefully all 8 will be - only 3 females are still available so if you have any questions send us a message or give us a call at 352-212-3255.

We are very proud that over half of this first (and only) litter by this Dam and Sire found homes before we have even taken them out to be seen. It speaks volumes of the parents and the quality of them. Sire is BriarBey's Decker and Dam is BriarBey's Oaklee, both at RaineyRose Deckers in Citrus County Florida.

The parents each weigh 38 pounds. The breed loves their humans and want to be a part of everything you do. They do not bark often (if at all, Oaklee has barked about 3 times in 2 years lol) Decker barks to alert us but it's usually just a bark or two and then he has done his job. They are easy to train and they do not shed hardly at all. They are terriers, they do have energy and they need to know that you are the boss or they will try to be 🤣🤣🤣. They have many cat like behaviors, like cleaning themselves and working with their hands (that's the Basenji part of them), they are quite comical most of the time. The breed gets along well with other dogs and loves children.

The parents are both UKC Purple Ribbon Registered and so is the litter. Tails are docked, dew claws have been removed and they will have their first shots, microchip and health certificate next Tuesday April 2nd.

#1 F Clarke, #2 F Octavia and #3 F Raven are up for discussion. #'s 4,5,6,7 and 8 are all spoken for.

Females, #1 F Clarke, #2 F Octavia and #3 F Raven are the last 3 pups looking for their fur-ever homes.

🎉🎊🎉Help us Celebrate this beautiful girl! Happy Birthday to mamma dog Oaklee!! She has been a great family dog and a great mom to her litter of pups. She celebrated her birthday today with a pup cup from Dunkin wearing her donut🍩! This girl is sooo loved by her humans and we are so grateful to have such an awesome dog.

5 1/2 weeks old and their ears are starting to pop (this happens naturally, the last picture has parents with natural erect ears) They enjoying some puppy play time outside!! Located in Citrus County, Florida. 8 pups, 5- females and 3- males born 2/6/24, only 5 left looking for their fur-ever home. Both parents weigh 38 pounds with different builds. We expect these pups to be 35-40 pounds, a perfect size dog. They are exhausted after about 20 minutes of outside playtime and ready to go in for a nap🤣🤣🤣

Decker "Rat Terriers" are a specific bloodline. This litter is UKC registered. Deckers are super smart and easy to train. They are a hunting breed and also make great companion dogs (ours do not hunt but they keep the yard secure just on their natural instincts), They love to be with their people doing whatever you are doing and they are known for their LOVE for children. Decker Rat Terriers are bred with Basenji's so they are NOT a yappy dog at all. Basenji's are a bark-less dog (they literally cannot bark) , Decker's will alert you but they will not carry on. It was a busy weekend at RaineyRose Decker and Old Dominion Terriers - ODT #6 Male Lincoln, #7 Female Emori and #8 Female Echo all have been chosen for forever homes. #'s 1 - 5, 3 females and 2 males are still available. We posted a short video of some of the pups playing yesterday if you look at our video you can see them. ! They are so funny to watch play and this week they are learning to use the bathroom in a separate area from their play and sleep space and they are doing a great job. Mom Oaklee and Aunt Charli are helping to teach the pups and they have all had their first trip to the backyard as well. They all seem to think the grass is a little odd but did better today with it then yesterday lol. Updated 5 week pup pictures are attached in this post. Puppy update - We are 4 weeks old and learning all kinds of new stuff from our mom. We are playing with each other and we started eating mush a few days ago. We are a little messy but our humans Bryar and Tyler make it real good!

We will be ready to go to our forever homes on April 3rd and we are located in Citrus County Florida. We are a sibling group of 8, 5 females and 3 males. If you have any questions about us you can message our dads humans here and they will tell you whatever you need to know about us. We are called Decker Terriers named after a man named Milton Decker. He had a Rat Terrier named Henry many years ago and he was a great hunting dog. Mr. Decker bred his Rat Terrier with a bark less dog called a Basenji ( it's a true story you can look it up on g@) Basenji's are the oldest dog breed in the history of the world so we are really special. We are UKC registered as Rat Terriers and the UKC knows we are mixed with Rat and Basenji. Our mom and Dad came from a GREAT breeder in Ohio so we know we come from the best of the best! We hope to meet you soon!

Our Aunt Charli gets to visit us at our enclosure sometimes when our mom goes out to lay in the Florida sun for a few minutes. Our mom is not ready for us to play with her yet but we think she will be soon and we can't wait. Our Aunt Charli is a brindle pit and she was rescued 3 years ago from a drug house.by our humans. Animal Control said that they could take her home if they would be responsible for her. She had had puppies a few weeks before and animal services looked everywhere for them but they never found any. They may have been given away to young or they might not have made it without proper care. Aunt Charli is ready to help our mom with us real soon though and we are really excited about that.
