Had the pleasure of teaching a mini groundwork clinic this week. We put the FUN in Fundamentals!

Groundwork is paramount in forming a solid connection with your horse. Teaching them respect, building confidence and establishing rhythm and response.

A nice ride on Bella today. She is building confidence and learning how to relax on the trail. The rider’s energy is crucial in this as it transfers to the horse even in the most subtle of ways. They are looking to us for guidance and it’s our job as horsemen to be a kind & consistent leader.
