🎥🦎 Dino Buddies is heading to TV!

We’re excited to share that we’ll be appearing on Local 12 this Tuesday at 9:40 AM to talk about wildlife education, reptiles, dinosaurs, and the amazing experiences we’ve been bringing to the Cincinnati area for the past six years.

Be sure to tune in and watch some of our animal ambassadors and dinosaurs make their television appearance!

Something new is coming to reptile encounters this summer 🌿🐍

Meet our new snake tree, designed to give our ambassador boas more opportunities to climb, explore, and show off natural behaviors during select encounters.

And speaking of new things… meet Maya, one of our boa ambassadors ✨

Maya just attended her very first encounter this past weekend at a wedding and she did amazing 💚 We’re so excited for more guests to meet her this summer and watch her confidence continue to grow.

We’re always looking for ways to create enriching experiences for our animals while helping guests connect with them in new ways and we can’t wait to share this with you!

One thing about Dino Buddies encounters… kids are going to ask the BEST questions 💬🦎

From “snakes are slimy” to “do reptiles fart?” every program is full of curiosity, funny stories, and moments that turn nervousness into fascination.

And honestly? We love it.

Questions lead to learning, and some of the best conversations happen when kids feel comfortable enough to ask exactly what they’re thinking 👏

As our summer programs start to kick off, we thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to some of the animal ambassadors you may meet along the way 🐍✨

Today we’re talking about kingsnakes. A fascinating group of snakes known for their important role in ecosystems and their incredible adaptations.

🐍 Patrick — Mexican Black Kingsnake
🐍 Dino — California Kingsnake
🐍 Pierre — Eastern Milksnake

Yes, milksnakes can fall under the kingsnake family! 👀

Kingsnakes earned their name because of their ability to eat other snakes, including venomous species. They also have a natural resistance to certain snake venom.

Despite their reputation, these snakes are incredibly important for maintaining balance in their ecosystems and are amazing ambassadors for helping people better understand reptiles 💚
