Goodmorning, I’m making this post to let everyone know that we have been out of the shop since February 11th due to my wife having an emergency C section with complications. We didn’t intend on being out this long or for her to have the complications she has had. This time away has put us behind some but we will be working hard to get back on track. With this being said, please understand that turn around times may be extended. I’m working as hard as one man can go to make sure we stay as true to the time frame as possible. Rare water headed calf!

Hydrocephalus in Hereford calves is a congenital condition causing an enlarged, dome-shaped head due to excess cerebrospinal fluid, and in severe cases, like the genetic form known as neuropathic hydrocephalus, it results in a massive, volleyball to basketball-sized cranium filled with fluid, with no recognizable brain or spinal tissue with other severe physical abnormalities that often result in the calf being stillborn or dying shortly after birth. This little guy lived for 2 hours!
