Update: things have been going very steady for me and I am very grateful for all of YOUR help! I was able to raise another $1500 but my fight is far from over, on the 15th of this month will be to set the date for my hearing. (OP) as far as the other lawsuit. I am still raising the another $2500, but I am confident that I will be able to have what I need in a couple of days.😥
The amount of love and support that was shown is palpable. I couldn’t believe that everyone cared so much. And it made me cry several times. I love my job and it’s my purpose to help my 4 pawed babies. 🐶 I help show off their inner beauty.💫

Wow, let’s do an update real quick: Everything has been going well at the shop you know over the couple months we lost a couple people, we also gained a couple people and that’s how it goes you know.
However, I am proud to be able to give back to my community and really it’s the babies that benefit the most. I’m just there to make them look beautiful!

🚨 Life Update 🚨Hey guys, haven’t said hi in a while. I just wanted to give you a little life update on me and the shop! Although I did say that I am opening up a second location I did have an amazing opportunity that I couldn’t pass up, you can ask when you come in for your appointment.
One major life event at a time, couple years ago I got divorced so that was an awful time 😮‍💨 but I’m still here and my grooms have never looked better! My staff is amazing and I couldn’t have asked for more dedicated members of my team. They are well compensated for dealing with me LMAO 🤣 but I think our reputation speaks for itself.🏆Tell your friends and family, STOP GATEKEEPING. My groomers are literally the best in the city and I also mentor groomers to realize their max potential. I’m a hard ass but I’m not an as*hole.😘

Attention Dog Groomers and newbies! I’m Isaac Catalán I own Buds N’ Suds and every once in a while I take on either a new groomer or an apprentice.
I definitely have a unique grooming style and it’s a shame to keep it secret. (Like most older grooming salons) yes, I’m throwing shade 💅
Anywho.
Won best dog grooming salon in Chicago 2022… blah blah blah. We’re growing and we’re growing fast 2nd location coming soon. Like it’s cray cray although this slow season sucks.

Our Story

Starting from humble beginnings, Isaac always knew he was meant to work with animals. He is an artist with background in painting, photography, singing, dancing and is a whiz in the kitchen. But he's most passionate about dogs and their health. His main inspiration on becoming a professional dog groomer came from his sister who said "... you're an artist, you're good with your hands and love dogs why not combine the two?" and that's when lightning struck!

In 2010 he began studying the art of dog grooming.

Isaac has spent most of his career working for corporate grooming salons, veterinarian hospitals and small shops. Yet, he was never satisfied working under someone else. That's when Buds N' Suds was born. Buds N' Suds' main mission is to provide the highest quality of attention and that makes us the best of the best. Every interaction is meant to be personalized and meaningful for both the pet and pet owner. Here at Buds N' Suds we strive to create the best environment for your pups.
