We here at Wag The Tail, LLC are concerned about you, our friends and clients.
There’s no doubt that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is creating challenges for all of us, both personally and professionally. First and foremost, we hope that you, your family and your pet(s) are remaining safe and healthy. We are writing to keep you informed of the steps we are taking in order to continue offering the care your pet(s) need while providing you a safe environment. Second, we know that everyone needs to be mindful not to aide in the spreading of the virus, especially to more susceptible groups of people.
Remaining safe is our number one priority and we have implemented the following initial protocols into our care routine.
* all staff will carry hand sanitizer and use it before entering
any residence or touching any exterior door handles.
* all staff, whenever possible, will wash hands with soap
both before and after the care visit once inside your
residence.
* while outside, we will keep an appropriate social distance
from others.
If you are working from home, please let us know and we are more than happy to keep your pet's most fun and necessary part of their day consistent and you focused on your work.
We are happy to come out to help and are flexible for any schedule adjustments you may need to make during these days of uncertainty.
Can dogs or cats get COVID-19?
Based on what we know currently there is limited evidence to support risk of COVID-19 to your pet and no evidence that you are at risk from your pet. (source: Blum Animal Hospital [https://vcahospitals.com/press-center/statement-on-covid-19]
