Really Rella, you have come such a long way with love, hard work and care. Rella is a 4.5 year old female Akita who was from the St Louis Mo area and thought to have experienced some abuse and mistreatment. The shelter named her Mozarella for her love of cheese treats and we renamed her Rella. She initially had some separation anxiety which our loving foster home has helped her oversome. Rella is housebroken, walks well on lead, loves people and her favorite is car rides. Regardless of what she is called be it her nickname Cheese or our Rella, she has overcome her past life experiences and proved to be a wonderful companion who is looking for her forever home.

QUINN

This is what a little bit of love and kindness does for a dog.

This boy is so much fun. He’s content to sit next to you for hours chopping on his ball or going on a long hike with you.

To a very well loved foster dog.

Welcome Flint.
Our little Flint found himself lost and the kind people at Genessee County Animal Shelter in Flint MI provided him shelter.

They reached out to us to help.
Flint was a stray. He needed our help. We are happy to help him.
Flint is completely blind. It doesn’t stop him from living his best life. This little guy is the life of the party. His favorite past time is to explore. He LOVES attention and pets.

He is waiting on an appointment to get neutered and he will be available for adoption or for a foster home

Maple is still waiting for her forever home.
She is currently taking applications. Who is she going to choose? Perhaps it is you ❤️❤️
She deserves so much.

She is a beautiful girl about 3 years old.
She was found in metro Detroit wondering with a younger pup that to our guessing was her puppy.

She is a sweet girl that takes a second to warm up to you but once she does she is your bestie. Walks easy on a leash.

She is Spayed, UTD on vaccinations, chipped and on prevention

She keeps her kennel clean so she appears to be house broken.

Akita experience is required
No kids under 8
An in person meet and greet is required.

Taz And Sasha

Seriously, Why aren’t these two adopted They are the sweetest pups around.

They were found in a home with their owner who was unfortunately no longer alive. It is unsure how long they were there with him without food and water.

They have had a little bit of time to decompress, and to get fully vetted.

Taz acts like a puppy while Sasha is more serious Both are amazing dogs and whoever adopts them will be very lucky

Two years. Two incredibly long years our resilient girl Yosi waited to find her forever home. Well today was her life-changing day. We are thrilled to announce that our beloved girl Yosi has finally found her forever home. Thank you Takako and Yoshiji for opening your hearts and adopting another Akita from us. Congratulations and happy gotcha day. Wishing you a lifetime of joy, happiness and unforgettable walks. 🐾 🐾 ❤️❤️❤️

And just like that our girl Zola goes home.
From a stray in Detroit to a much loved coach potatoe.
Thank you Marcie for opening up your heart and home to yet another homeless Akita.
We wish Marcie and Zola many years filled with love and happiness.
