1. Smell:
• Dogs have up to 300 million scent receptors in their noses (compared to about 5 million in humans).
• Their smell-processing brain area is about 40 times larger than ours.
• Dogs can detect diseases like cancer, diabetes, and even COVID-19 using their sense of smell.

2. Hearing:
• Dogs can hear sounds from 20 Hz to 65,000 Hz (humans hear up to 20,000 Hz).
• They can hear sounds from much farther away—up to four times the distance that humans can.
• Dogs can move their ears independently to better capture sound direction.

3. Sight:
• Dogs see well in low light due to a special eye structure called the tapetum lucidum.
• Contrary to myth, dogs aren’t colorblind—they see a limited color spectrum similar to red-green colorblindness in humans (mostly blues and yellows).
• Motion detection is stronger in dogs than in humans.

4. Taste:
• Dogs have around 1,700 taste buds (humans have about 9,000).
• They can taste sweet, sour, bitter, and salty—though less precisely than humans.
• Their taste is heavily influenced by their sense of smell.

5. Touch:
• Dogs are born with the sense of touch, which helps them bond and interact.
• Their paws and whiskers are very sensitive and help them navigate and interpret their environment.
• Whiskers can detect tiny changes in air currents

** Dog Walks
Keep your dog happy and entertained while you're gone with our walking services. A 30 minute visit for one dog includes a walk, fresh water, and feeding and medications if requested.
• Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. ($15)
• Monday–Friday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m. ($17)
• Saturday–Sunday ($20)
** Our rates are based on 1 dog per household. Each additional dog is $2.**

Potty Breaks (Puppies&seniors ONLY)�Leave your pup with someone who cares as much as you do. We offer a minimum of two walks per day at 15 minutes for $10. Perfect for puppies and senior dogs.

Cat Visits�Now you don't have to worry about your cat being lonely when you're gone. Cat visits include cleaning the litter box, providing fresh water and play time, and feeding and medications upon request. Our rate is 15 minutes for $15.

Pet Taxi�Your cat or dog will travel in style with our taxi services. We will safely pick up or drop off your pet at any desired location within 20 miles of our service area, including the groomer, vets, or play dates. A one-way trip is $10 and a round trip is $20.

House Sitting / Overnights�We also offer in home over night sitting and vacation care, which can be specialized to meet your pet's needs. House sitting includes three 20 minute walks per day and a sleepover with your pet. We will gladly pick up your mail and water your plants during house visits. Our rate is $60 per day.

Your pet will feel right at home during their luxurious & relaxing stay at our in house pet hotel. Know your pet is having just as much fun and socialization as you during your time apart!
