Back to School time! Destruction time! Behavior Modification time!
Ever thought about how your dog perceives the world when kids go back to school at the end of a fun-filled summer? College students leave, teens and littles are gone all day leaving Rover alone and bored. Behavioral changes - unwanted ones - frequently emerge this time of year. Your dog isn't a bad dog if he suddenly howls and barks when home alone. He isn't thinking: "I'll show you! Imma raid the trash"!

Day #5 of no power. ….how do you spell relief for your husky with 90% humidity? I finally cracked the code! Turn the A/C on high and let the car run! He’s been snoozing in the backseat for over an hour after a restless night.

How do you keep a husky cool with 90% humidity and no power? This is Day #5 and I finally broke the code. Turn the A/C on high and let the car run! He’s been comfortably snoozing in the backseat for over an hour after a restless night.

This little puppy, who looks like a nice plump juicy white bunny to a hawk, was saved by the emergency recall he learned when I trained him! Emergency recalls may well be my favorite thing to teach because it literally saves lives. That hawk might have circled and come back for the little white bundle had the pup not been taught to run to his owner when he was called! See for yourself. 😍

With the wild weather this past week I sure hope you and all your dogs were able to handle the unease. Especially those that are afraid of t’storms. Enjoy the nice cool weather with them to reassure things are back to normal. They’ll appreciate it!

Thanks for your suggestions for FB Live topics! I've gotten great suggestions on FB and DM's. Stand by while I shuffle the deck, so to speak and decide which topic will be first. I plan to do this more than once so I can get to all the suggestions. Thanks, again and keep 'em coming!
