Tiny Paws RVA, Rescue Tiny Paws RVA is a 501(c)3 foster based animal rescue in the Richmond, Virginia area focusing on neonatal kittens and puppies.

We place animals in foster homes, have them vetted and fixed, then adopt them into loving homes.

Remember last week when we asked for help covering costs of caring guys all the babies in our care?

Well, we remember and want to say a huge THANK YOU for helping us out. ❤️❤️❤️

And now it's time to meet some of the new kittens we have taken in recently!

Pair 1: Kampot & Tellicherry
Kam & Telli were born outside to a feral mama. The neighbors worked together to get Mom fixed and they found homes for 2 of the kittens but these little boys needed a safe place to land. They've been slow to warm up but they finally realized fire mom Sara is great! 😊

Pair 2: Buster & Gob Bluth
Born to a family who didn't fix their female cat, these kittens were facing eviction on the street! Another rescue was getting mom fixed and needed a foster home to take a couple of the kittens, so we jumped in. They're silly brothers who are very cute, but might not be the sharpest crayons in the box. 😂

Pair 3: Burger & Fries
A shelter we pulled from in the past was facing potentially euthanasia if they didn't get anybody to pull kittens. We had someone step up and we're planning to pull a litter of four, but there were two single kittens that I kept going back to. The night before we met the transport, a friend messaged me and told me she had room for kittens if I wanted her to take any. Since these two guys had already started their vetting, we decided to put them together and give both of them a freedom ride! These 2 boys are a little shell shocked, but really settling in in their foster home! ❤️

We are so glad that we're able to rescue these kittens, partially because of all the support we get from YOU!

Next goal, getting everyone vetted and adopted out! We'll need your help with that too so stay tuned. 😉

Okay okay, so maybe those young, energetic kittens we posted about yesterday aren't your speed. Or maybe you really want 2 kitties, but crazy kittens aren't for you.

That's okay!

We have 2 pairs of laid back kitties looking for homes, too!

🐱🐱Pair one: Magnolia & Laurel
This mama daughter duo is just too attached to split up. Laurel is a social, but more calm, kitten who loves to hang out near her mama. Magnolia is easy going and likes attention, but also likes her space.

🐱🐱 Pair two: Autumn & Maple
These sisters are almost a year old, and have been waiting ever so patiently for the right home to find them. They're sweet and affectionate, and can go crazy with the right toys, but prefer to be your book buddies or join you for some bird watching out the window.

🐾 All our kitties are fully vetted, vaccinated, fixed, and ready to go home with an approved application!

Y'all. We have some kittens that are LITERALLY perfect and are READY to GO.

So I'm going to need someone smarter than me up explain WHY all of them have exactly ZERO applications. 🤷🏼‍♀️⁉️

🐱We're talking super cute, super sweet, purr the second you look at them, want to be in your lap constantly, and love to play with toys. Plus they're all fully vetted including being negative for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, and fixed.

If you're looking for a pair, any combo of these 3 would be a great set to go home together, but as long as you have another active cat in the home you could adopt one of these guys on their own.

Let's be real, I love them but they're ready to go and if they're sitting in my bathroom it means I can't rescue more kittens. And there are many kittens that need me.

🐱Sweet little LULU is available for adoption!

After finding safety in the middle of a heatwave, she's ready to spend her days lounging in the AC by your side!

🐱Lulu has a little bit of a pouty princess face, but don't be fooled. She's always purring and incredibly social. She'll come right up and give you a raspy meow before flopping over for pets. She'll chatter away at you while you get her meals ready and keep you company for everything in your life.

She loves to play but can get overwhelmed by her rather over zealous pals, so an active, but chill, kitty would be the perfect fit. If you're looking for 2, she and Otto would be a great pair!

🐾All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, receive age appropriate vaccines, and are fixed before going home.

Kittens must be indoor only, keep their claws, and single kittens must be adopted to a home that already has another active cat OR in pairs. Priority is given to adopters looking to adopt 2 kittens.

🐾 TEN DOLLAR TUESDAY! 🐾

I'm going to be honest, it feels positively crazy to ask for that. I know to some people $10 is nothing, but I also know it can feel impossible to others. I'm especially with our current climate, I'm very aware of how stressful money can be. 🩷

But I am coming to you to ask that, if you are able, you throw a few dollars our way.

🐈A little over a week ago we picked up two kittens (that we haven't even introduced you to!), then Sunday we pulled in two more. And as I write this, I'm about to head back from Charlottesville where I just picked up six new kittens from an overcrowded shelter where they were facing the potential of euthanizing perfectly healthy kittens if they didn't get some help.

We've had a few adoptions, but with these new intakes this will put us at over 30 kittens, cats, and a puppy (yes, she's still available!) in our care.

We'll keep them safe, care for them, get them vetted, and get them adopted. But to do that we need your help. Please consider sending us a donation. This will help us cover vet bills, food, litter, and anything else these little ones might need. ❤️‍🩹

Happy Scary Loud Explosion in the Sky Day! 😫

Total honesty, I hate this holiday, and I REALLY hate fireworks. 😅 (Please be extra careful with your pets tonight!!!)

But we do believe in a free and fair country for

I've been a little remiss in posting adoption photos. Adoptions have been a little slower, so there's a little more time in between. But they are still happening...

And today was a great day because FIVE kittens were adopted! 🎉

Mocha Brownie & Banana Pudding went home to the sweetest couple!
Strawberry Shortcake is going home to a new little brother (a kitten who was rescued from a wall!!!)
And Topaz & Obsidian are their new mom's first kitties on her own!
Adoption days always make me so happy!

🩷 Meet Lulu! 🩷

Earlier in the week, we had an email from a woman needing help. Her son was in the garage when he heard meowing, which was pretty confusing since they didn't have a cat!

Suddenly, a little face peeked out (3rd photo). This was during that extreme heat wave we were heading, so our guess is the poor little girl was looking for water and a cool place to stay.

While they couldn't keep her, they looked after her until they found a rescue to take her. I'm grateful they did! 🩷

Lulu is SUCH a doll baby. She's chatty and purrs the second you talk to her. Pet her for more than a minute and she's flopping over to get belly rubs.

She does have some painful burns on her paw pads, most likely from walking on burning pavement, but they are healing up nicely. She'll be available after being fully vetted.

🍨 Banana Pudding (tabby male), Cookie Monster (solid black male), Mocha Brownie (solid black female), and Strawberry Shortcake (tabby male) are looking for their forever homes!

🍨 These kittens came from an over crowded Tennessee shelter and have been in foster with dogs, cats, and a TODDLER! They're total sweethearts and love to play and snuggle from the comfort of your lap. They're used to (respectful) tiny humans interacting with them, but please remember they are still kittens and everyone needs to be appropriately supervised!

🐱All Tiny Paws RVA kittens are treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV/FELV, receive age appropriate vaccines, and are fixed before going home.

We are so honored to be invited by to attend their event this weekend!

There will be wine, music, vendors, and so many sweet animals looking for their forever homes!

😺We will have kittens that are available for adoption!
If you submit an application (for a kitten that is ALREADY AVAILABLE) this week we will make sure you are approved so that you'll be able to meet them in person and take one home that day.

‼️Important stuff to know!
-we don't know what kittens will be coming with us to the event yet, but anyone who comes will be 100% adorable
-no same day adoptions
(Meaning get your application in this week!)
-if a kitten isn't on our website, they aren't available and they won't be at the event, nor are we accepting applications for them at this time.
