I wrote this after reading some comments on other rescues post over the last few days.
I am sorry this is so long
I have to get some of this off my chest. I just want to add this because it has been on my mind & heavy on my heart lately. Rescueing is not for the weak of heart. Many people have no idea. They have no clue what it cost financially & mentally to run a rescue. Many sleepless nights, many tears cried, many hours cleaning kennels, walking dogs , doing best to make sure they all get some love each day. Helping the sick ones , Medication to the dogs that need it , working with the ones that are scared haveing to learn to trust someone else. why wondering where there human is at.
Most people dont even think befor they speak. People think rescues have nothing more important to do then spend 3 hours a day trying to get pictures that arnt blurry of just a few dogs because the dogs are happy to have love they are Spin circles ,Dancing , Jumping up and down. Then you have the one in corner looking scard because you are a stranger to them they dont know who you are what is going on. Where there human is. It is not a easy task. Then we are worrying about even useing a leash for 5 mins to get a picture. Dont want that karen to come out putting unnecessary hateful comments on our web page . Have to think twice about takein pictures of dogs in there kennels because of that one Karen comeing out putting uncalled for comments on pur post. You karens need to use a little common sense. Yalls mouths hurt more dogs then they do any good. If you arnt in dog rescue. Have never lived in the shoes of someone trying there best to help as many dogs as they can daily running a rescue. Then you should keep your mouth shut for real.
For the ONES yelling about donations. People WITH any common sense. Do you really think that it's free? Do you not see how much everything cost now days. No matter what to keep this , many dogs that we do. We use 2 or 3 50ib bags of dog food daily.
We use more some day depending on how many dogs we have. The different kind of dog food for some. Some dogs have to have high dollar dog food if it is for a medical cases. puppy food & puppy pads for puppies. If bottle babies need puppy milk replacement that isnt to cheap. Then Shots, worming , flea pills. That is the stuff on the cheaper end we deal with daily , weekly and monthly. Then spaying and neutering. Us rescues cant always use discount spay clinics. So have rules then some only do to certain size dogs. If it is a extra large dog , do you know it could easily cost $400 to $500 hundred dollars to just get that dog fixed. Not counting rabies shots, heart worm test. Then health certificates after all, the rest is done. If they needed to be transferred out of state.
Then on top of all this we have to find time to reach out to rescue networks. Emailing, pming different rescues, different transport organizations , answering emails, makeing phone calls. Listing dogs. It could easy be 2 or 3 hours a day on the internet doing all this & updating website . There is only so many hours in a doy. rescues have to put in line What's more important. Well believe it or not To the karens out there . The dogs are first on the list every day.
People that want to say things they have no clue about need to think of all the things that we have to do an deal with daily....The last thing we want to here is mean , hateful , negative things coming from somebody's mouth that has never lived in our shoes. So please if you arnt trying to help or saying something nice unless it is a emergency case with a rescue that needs to be addressed. Just keep your mouth shut

Should think about how many rescues you push out of rescue network . How many dogs that you hurt ones you affect on daily caucasians) It is already bad enough that one bad rescue can hurt other honest and caring rescues that truely care of dogs. One bad rescue gives bad name to other rescues. They hurt donations that rescue desperately on they need to be able to continue doing what we do to help dogs in need.
It all brakes my heart very badly. People need to do better all the way around. If people would just do better care about animals feeling well being. No they can't take care of them . A dog is a life long companion. You don't throw them away , you don't dump 'em. You get your dog fixed. If you don't get your dog fixed and you have puppies, they are your responsibility until you find them homes.It doesn't matter. You don't go dump the poor puppies down the back road because of you're negligence. You keep them care for them and find them homes. They are your responsibility.
EVERYBODY NEEDS TO THINK ABOUT THIS. DO YOU KNOW DOGS ARE ONE OF THE FEW MAMMALS. THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR HUMANS , MORE THAN THEY CARE ABOUT THEMSELVES. a dog still loves the human that they call there own . Even if that is a abusive ,mean and neglectful human.
DOGS HAVE FEELING , THEY FEEL LOVE AND HURT JUST AS WE DO... if people would do better then there wouldnt be so many full rescues. For real , there wouldn't even be bad rescues if people would just do better .
I have seen so much lately on Facebook & the news of different people treating dogs badly.
Every dog in my care at my rescue all have different story's some much worse then others but I promise this each one of them will eat befor i eat. They will get daily needs taken care of. They will have flea pills month. They will not live in kennels 24/7 . As I sit here writeing this at the early morning hours . As I just got done feeding bottle babies that no matter how tired I am . I feed them babies every 4 hours around the clock. Keeping them warm and clean . Makeing it worse that them babies dont have a mom because of people sorry people that it is ashamed to even know they are of the human race.
