🐾 Maggie’s 2-Week Transformation! 🐾
Maggie is a 1-year-old Ranch Collie who came to us for a 2-week Board & Train, and what a journey it has been! ❤️
Her training didn’t stop in a quiet training room. We took her obedience into the real world — working through the distractions and excitement of Home Depot, Lowe’s, and the mall. 🏬🐕
From learning to focus on her handler to maintaining obedience in busy public environments, Maggie has been building the confidence, control, and reliability she needs to succeed beyond the leash.
Two weeks. Real-world distractions. Real progress.
We’re incredibly proud of this girl and everything she has accomplished! 💪🐾
This is what Board & Train should look like — training that carries over into everyday life.

Some bonds are impossible to break. ❤️ Queen met Maverick when he was just a 4-month-old puppy, and from that day on, she chose him as her favorite. Time has passed, but nothing has changed. Through every stage of life, she's still happiest by his side. Some friendships truly last forever. 🐾

Maggie's very first crate training session! 🐾

For many dogs, a crate can seem intimidating the first time they see one. Maggie, a Rough Collie, had never been inside a crate or kennel before, so we took the process slow and made every experience positive.

Using high-value treats, calm praise, and plenty of patience, we allowed Maggie to work at her own pace. At first, she was hesitant to step inside, but with encouragement she quickly realized the crate wasn't something to fear. By the end of this session, she was comfortable with the door being closed and even staying inside while I briefly walked away.

People often ask why we don't rely heavily on treats during training. The answer is simple: we use rewards strategically. Crate training is one of the few areas where high-value treats can help build a positive emotional response, making the crate a safe, comfortable place rather than something forced.

Every dog learns differently, and rushing the process can create unnecessary stress. Building confidence first creates lasting results.

Would your dog walk into a crate this easily on day one? Let us know in the comments!

The deer was in frame for 16 seconds… and she never noticed. Then she saw it—and the chase was on. 🦌💨 One recall command later, she turned and came straight back. Drive is natural. Control is trained. 🐕‍🦺🔥

Kai is working through reactivity toward people and cars. In this session, we focused on teaching him to disengage from triggers, hold a down, and remain neutral around real-world distractions. After an initial reaction, Kai was able to recover, regain control, and continue working calmly. That recovery is a major part of behavior modification. 🐕‍🦺

From chaos to control in just 4 sessions. 👏🐾

Meet Pablo, a 6-month-old German Shepherd who came to us because his high energy made walks and life at home difficult. His owner struggled with leash control and wanted a better relationship with their dog.

Just 4 training sessions later, Pablo has completed his basic obedience program. Now he's focused, responsive, and a joy to walk—giving his owner the confidence and control they were looking for.

Training isn't about taking away a dog's personality—it's about giving them the guidance to succeed.

🐕 Great job, Pablo and family!

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Bojovnik DDR K9! 🐾
Today we celebrate the freedom, courage, and sacrifices that make this country great. We are thankful to all who have served and continue to protect our nation.

As you enjoy the fireworks and festivities, remember that many dogs can be frightened by loud noises. Keep them safe indoors, ensure they have secure identification, and give them a calm place to relax.

From our family—and our pack—to yours, we wish you a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day.
God Bless America! 🇺🇸❤️

🐕‍🦺 A trained nose can make a life-changing difference.

Lena has officially started her full-time job alongside her handler after completing her obedience, public access, and diabetic alert training.

A diabetic alert dog is trained to recognize changes associated with their handler's blood sugar and respond with a trained alert. Behind every successful alert are countless hours of training, consistency, and teamwork.

While Lena has completed her training with us, the journey continues. Her handler works with her every day to maintain and strengthen the skills that make a reliable service dog.

We're incredibly proud of Lena and her handler as they begin this next chapter together. Wishing them many years of success as a team. 🐾❤️

Control is the foundation of real protection work. 🐕‍🦺💪

Quantro working through off leash protection training — building engagement, obedience, and clear communication under drive.
Protection training isn’t just about the bite. It’s about having a dog that can turn the switch on when needed and off when commanded.

Drive with control. Power with obedience.
