COVID 19 Update/New Policies effective 3/19/20:
Just a quick update on our procedures. Once again, we will remain open for our clients as long as we are allowed by the state and our staff remains healthy. AMC is dedicated to protecting the health of our clients, patients, team members and their families. During the rising threat of COVID19, we have decided to alter our guidelines to try to remain open in order to be able to continue to take care of our patients. We hope that taking these measures aids us in achieving this goal. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time as we all work together to try to keep everyone healthy. As the days go on, these policies may be changed or altered but are as follows effective 3/19/20.
New Hospital Policies Effective 3/19/20:
All clients will need to remain in their cars! When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office at (203) 439-2597 to let them know you have arrived. From there a team member will come out to your car and bring your companion into the hospital. After the exam, a doctor will call you with findings, recommendations and a treatment plan. A team member will call you to get payment over the phone or you are welcome to send a credit card in with your companion at the time of transport.
For medication and food pick-up, please call ahead at (203) 439-2597. We will take payment over the phone and bring the medicine out to your vehicle. We also have an online pharmacy on our website. Go to https://animalmedicalcare.vetsfirstchoice.com/ and click the online pharmacy link. Place your order and it will be delivered to your door. (Food too).
Please alert us if you or anyone in your family has been ill or traveled outside of the immediate area. We can still treat your pet but we will need to take extra precautions.
We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we are doing our best to answer phones in a timely manner and adapt to this new workflow!
Also thank you for your continued patience and support! This is a very difficult time for everyone. We are going to do everything we can to remain available to you and your pets.
Stay healthy and wash your hands!
