Although tank is high as a kite due to his final treatment to beat heartworm, he was still able to jump up in the car… not his best but still made it. Athlough tank was not pleased to be back at Pets of Columbia Animal Services, we are very thankful for their help with the heartworm treatment.

Got Freshpet?? We do with a huge thank you and appreciation to A Second Chance Animal Shelter - ASCAS Manning, SC!! Our fridge, freezer, and chest freezer are full with boxes of dog food all due to the selflessness of this amazing shelter donating and helping out the little guys (rescues)!!🐾

Tank has definitely came out of his shell and is doing amazing. He did great with the fireworks 🎇 didn’t seem to mind them as long as he was inside. He’s learned to wait and sit at the glass door instead of jumping on it. He loves to launch himself at me off the porch… like I’m going to catch him😂. Playing ball is his favorite thing to do just ask him “where is your ball?” He goes and finds it, even though he loses it very often when he plays. He has been doing very well with other dogs just gets rambunctious and the others don’t want to play anymore. Men are not his forte!! He gets close to them and then does his big bark. Strangers…yup also a big NO. He likes children but he does not understanding his size and can definitely knock them down. He loves his car rides and going to the state park to play in the water. (Will get video of that soon) He is housebroken and crate trained which helps a lot to try and contains his excitement due to him being on his pre heart-worm treatment. Meet Tank, a gigantic baby who turns into an excited wrecking ball!! Yesterday, Tank could have had a different outcome if not for the amazing people at Columbia Animal Shelter and the animal lovers on Facebook who shared him. Tank is very thankful to have a second chance!! On his way home, he was hand-fed from the drive-through window of KFC and complimented on his beauty! When he finally got home (about a 2-hour drive), he got his very own room with a bed, a huge squeaky bone, and a ball his size! He's doing amazing and couldn't ask for a better transition into the funny farm!! Thank you to all who saved Tank's life by posting and showing him love!! 🐾💕

Hey Everyone! Long time no update but in the past week we have rehomed a few of our furry friends to some great homes! Unfortunately we are running low on not only food but funds.
