As we adventure into a new month, we want to share fundraising opportunities to support Mikey & Me. Thank you for your continued support of our mission and the dogs we foster!

Join us at a community yard sale packed with great finds, hidden gems, household goodies, décor, clothes, and so much more!

Every purchase helps support our family assistance program, care for the dogs, and the work Mikey& Me does to help families in need throughout our community. Proceeds from sales at 6420 Woodvine Dr, Chelsea will go directly to Mikey & Me to continue supporting these efforts. So not only are you getting amazing deals… you’re making a real difference too.

June 18th 6:30pm-8:30pm

We are excited to join Public Safety Night this year! Stop by to see your favorite police cares and fire trucks. We will have a few of our adoptable dogs waiting to meet you!

Good morning everyone,

I hope this finds you outside enjoying this beautiful weekend. 😉

The beautiful and very patient homeless dogs and all the rest of us at Mikey & Me need your help on Saturday, June 20th to help make our 3rd Annual “Save the Pups” golf outing a huge success.

This day of fun gets better every year and we would love to have as many of our followers join us as possible. Your donation of $100 gets you 18 holes of golf + side games, a golf cart per team, a chance at some very nice, free giveaways, participation in a silent auction with items donated by our local communities, and a catered dinner afterwards making this a relaxing, enjoyable day for everyone.

If you cannot assemble a team of four people, please don’t let that stop you from joining us! We’ll make sure everyone is paired up and ready to play. And we just might have a few canine guests show up this year. 🐶

Every year I hear a lot of people say “I should do that next year, it looks like a lot of fun”. Here’s your chance! 😉🐾❤️

🐾 Meet Bette! 🐾

Our newest little sweetheart at Mikey & Me!💛

Why we’re already obsessed with Bette:

• 🐶 Small Beagle cuteness overload
• 💕 Certified LOVE BUG
• 🚶‍♀️ Walks nicely on leash
• 🐾 Dog-friendly and non-reactive with other pups
• 👀 Wants to be wherever her humans are
• 🛋️ Professional cuddle companion
• ⚖️ About 25 pounds of pure sweetness

Bette was found as a stray with no tags, no microchip, and sadly no one came looking for her. But her next chapter is looking MUCH brighter! ✨

She’s already received vaccinations and booster shots, and next week she’ll be heading to the vet for:
• Heartworm testing
• Spay surgery
• Microchip
• Full physical exam

Good morning everyone,

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our newly developed Marketing Team, Mikey & Me now has an official webpage. 😉

Our new website is going to streamline everything we do into a user-friendly online site. Users will be able to read about our mission, view our available dogs, send us an online “quick adoption app”, apply to become a volunteer, donate online, view our adoption process and requirements, find direct links to our community partners, submit a form for assistance through the Mikey & Me Family Assistance Plan or the Mikey & Me Loan Closet, view and see details about our calendar of events, you name it!

Our webpage will be updated as we get new dogs, host new events, etc. We will continue to have social media presence on both the Mikey & Me FB Page and on Instagram. So have some fun checking out the new Mikey & Me webpage! You can find us at www.mikeyandme.org.

Millie (formerly Mary) has found her forever home, AND Cooper has been adopted too!!! 🏡❤️

There is truly nothing better than seeing these sweet pups begin their next chapter surrounded by love, comfort, and family. From rescue to forever home, these moments remind us why we do what we do.

MIllie is already settling into her new life and loving family, while Cooper is off to start his own happily ever after filled with adventures, cuddles, and all the treats he deserves. 🐶✨

Hi everyone,

It’s Dan, the founder of Mikey & Me. 😉

Thank you for continuing to follow our mission to help homeless dogs. Now that we have a Marketing Team in place I know you don’t hear from me very often. But please know I’m here every day, behind the scenes, working hard to move Mikey & Me and the lives of our residents, forward. 🐶

Today I’d like to share some comments about Chance, our very handsome and loyal Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog (?) mix. Chance has been with us for 8 months now and I cannot figure out why.

Chance is a really good dog and he has been doing a lot of training while under our care. I can tell you that he is a smart, loyal dog and that all he wants in his life is to matter to someone. He absolutely thrives on spending time with his person; he enjoys taking walks, hiking together, riding in the car, sitting on benches and taking in the smells, or just relaxing and enjoying a back rub.

Chance is incredibly smart, he looks to his person for direction and he enjoys learning new things. He can be a bit timid and sometimes needs slower introductions to new people but he is a friendly boy and this can be managed pretty easily.

Chance would love being a loyal companion to a dedicated person or couple. I would recommend children in the home be 12+ years of age only because he can be a little protective of high-value treats.

Chance walks very well most of the time but will pull if he sees a rabbit ahead but, again, he’s still learning. Chance will thrive as your one-on-one companion and will do best as an only dog. He’s played with other dogs a few times but he tries to dominate the other dog so he gets all the attention.

Please consider meeting Chance, I just know there’s someone out there for him to love.

What’s better than one adoption? TWO best friends getting to go home together! 🐾❤️

Layla and Bailey (formerly Buckley) officially found their forever home — together! From sharing cuddles to making memories side by side, these two are starting their next adventure as a pair, and we couldn’t be happier for them. 🏡✨

Double the love. Double the fun. Double the happy ending! 🎉🐶🐶
