We are happy to announce Silvio Mazzoni will be giving another show jumping clinic October 13, 2018 Chatsworth Stud. This clinic will be followed with a fun show jumping schooling show on October 14, 2018. Riders are encouraged to participate both days, but we welcome one day entries as well!

Silvio is a successful international Grand Prix rider and trainer with a history of showing significant improvement in horses and riders within the show jumping discipline. Silvio represented his home country of Argentina as an Eventer in the 1998 World Equestrian Games in Italy.
Silvio is the former Show Jumping Coach for the United States Eventing Team, training many of the top U.S. Eventing Team and representing the U.S. across the country as well as at the World Equestrian Games in France and the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Silvio was also coach of the United States Eventing team in 2015, when they won a gold medal at the Pan American Games in Canada.
Silvio has worked as a clinician across the country and consistently has incredible feedback and consistently re-booked clinics. He is dedicated and passionate professional with the highest integrity, a unique insight and proven results both on and off a horse.

The clinic will be held from 8 am - 5 pm on Saturday. The day will be divided into two hour blocks, with a break for lunch at 12. Riders will be placed in small groups based on number of entries and experience of rider and horse. All experience levels are welcome. A schedule of ride times will be sent out in advance of the clinic. Cost for the clinic is $150, and stabling for the day or overnight is available for $40. Auditing fee is $10 per day for the clinic.
The show will begin at 8:00 am on Sunday, and go through the divisions until we run out of riders.
Divisions:
Greenie - cross rails
Tadpole - 18” max.
Starter - 2'3" max.
BN- 2'6" max.
Novice - 2'11" max.
**Team Jumper Round**
Training - 3'3" max.
Prelim - 3'6" max.
Intermediate - 3'9" max.
Cost for the show is $20 per class, $10 for an additional round in the same class and $30 for the team jumper round. $10 grounds fee unless stabling overnight.
**Team Jumper Round: 12 jumps, ranging from 0.6m to 1.0 m in height, with a number of points allocated per jump (i.e. 20 points for 0.6 m vertical, 40 points for 1.0 m vertical). Points added for each clear jump, and subtracted for a rail or refusal. Teams of 3, drawn randomly from list of entries, will compete against each other for most points. Each team will have time to get together and decide a course for each rider, and each rider will have 1 minute to complete their chosen jumps. For clear rounds there will be an optional jump after the minute is over, worth 100 points, which will be added or subtracted to the team’s score. Riders of the top 3 teams will be awarded a special prize!**

Entries: Entries for the clinic must be submitted by October 7th. For the show, you may mail entries or sign up the day of the show.
Negative coggins required for all horses on grounds and all riders must sign releases before mounting.
