O Mi Shih Tzu

O Mi Shih Tzu I’ve raised champion lineage Shih Tzus for 19 years. My pups are family raised with love and care. Vet checked and shots done. I have excellent references.

The market is flooded with puppy mills, brokers and back yard breeders. Which I am not! I specialize in unique and rare coloring for the breed. My mother-in-law used to show and is one of the top AKC Shih Tzu breeders in N.C. She introduced me to the wonderful world of Shih Tzus. The majority of my clients have had a Shih Tzu in the past or currently have one. They know Shih Tzus are friendly and

hearty small dogs. My puppies are family raised with loving care, held and well socialized. The parents are part of the family. Many families with children and other pets adopt my puppies. I have tradtional Shih Tzu colors of tri-color, brindle and black/white. I also have the very rare gold, chocolate, and black. Shih Tzus are small dogs, not toy dogs. Small dogs tend do better with children. Shih Tzus are from 9-16lbs. For the record, there is no such thing as an "Imperial" or "Teacup" Shih Tzu! Also, Shih Tzus don't shed and are considered one of the most hypoallergenic breeds. If you have allergies this is the dog for you! These are not yippy dogs! The parents come from ten generations of champion lineage. I am an unusual breeder I like families to see updates weekly of the change and development of the pups. Families find it beneficial and fun. I will teach you how to properly take care of your pup. Deworming, vet check, and first shots are done. I offer a two year health guarantee, not one like most breeders. It is a spay/neuter contract. I am a small time breeder with only a few litters a year. Many of my pups have been sold by referrals and repeating clients. I have excellent references from previous clients. As I tell all my clients, "I'm here for the life of your Shih Tzu." Thier stories of how much they love thier puppies and what wonderful dogs they have become is so heartwarming to hear. I love the pictures of thier Shih Tzus. Your Shih Tzu will be a part of your life for about 15 years more or less. Ask any vet and they will tell you human contact is important in socializing a puppy. My devastated neighbor Judy came over to let us know sweet Winifred (Winnie) Marie passed on this evening. Winnie was almost 16yrs and was the princess of the house. I’ll miss her running up to me and jumping in my lap when I visited. Judy got her as a pup from me long ago. You’ll be dearly missed Winnie. R.I.P 🌺
