Good morning! We head back today and will catch up on all the messages during the drive. We will be seeing emergencies only tomorrow and back to scheduled appointments on Monday. Our schedule for the week is currently full except on Friday—we have a few open slots available. Looking forward to seeing everyone 🤎

And finally, a reminder to pay your invoices when they are received. We will not send out your coggins or health certificates without payment first. So, if you're going somewhere while we are gone and have not paid your bill, the samples won't be sent out until we come home in August.

We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday weekend. Thomas, the kids and I celebrated at the lake where we did our annual BB gun tournament, enjoyed boat rides/water skiing and ate more food than we needed. We will resume normal hours tomorrow ❤️🤍💙

We wanted to notify everyone of two more upcoming closure dates to keep in mind:

We are under a heat advisory this week, which means we will need to be extra careful doing any type of sedation or vaccines without the proper shaded environments. Ideally, we don't vaccinate any horse when it's 90 or higher to avoid colic unless you have a barn with fans. We plan on taking it one day at a time and will reach out to everyone that we feel might be affected because of the temperatures. Please keep an eye on all livestock during this time. Heat stress can affect all animals, including cattle. Symptoms for most livestock include: open mouth breathing, excessive drooling/foaming, lethargy, rapid breathing and/or stumbling. Contact us ASAP if you notice this happening.
