We’re still riding the St. Paddy’s Day wave of green to highlight an essential aspect of doggie health: dental care—featuring one of our all-time favorite products, Greenies! 🐾 Keeping your pup’s teeth and gums healthy is key to their overall well-being, so here are some tips to keep their smile sparkling:

Brush Regularly: Just like us, dogs need their teeth brushed to prevent plaque and tartar buildup. Use a toothbrush and toothpaste designed for dogs, as human toothpaste can be harmful to them. Aim for brushing at least 2-3 times a week for the best results.

Provide Chew Toys: Chew toys, like rubber or nylon bones, can help scrape off plaque and massage your dog's gums while satisfying their natural urge to chew.

Dental Treats and Chews: Dental chews, like Greenies, are a great addition to your dog’s routine. These treats are specifically designed to reduce tartar and plaque buildup while freshening breath.

Regular Vet Check-Ups: Just like humans, dogs need professional dental cleanings from time to time. Your vet can check for any signs of dental disease, such as gum inflammation or tooth decay, and provide necessary treatments.

Watch for Warning Signs: Keep an eye out for signs of dental issues, such as bad breath, drooling, difficulty eating, or red and swollen gums. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule a vet appointment to prevent further complications.

By incorporating these tips into your pup’s routine, you’ll help them maintain healthy teeth and gums, ensuring they can keep wagging and smiling for years to come! ✨🐶
