We spent our last surgery day of the year with our friendly elves at Rowan Neuter Scooter , and Santa clawed his way in for a surprise visit! 🎅🐾
It was a full day of spays, neuters, tips, and snips for our friendly and TNR cats—keeping the season merry, bright, and litter-free.

We’re so thankful for our amazing partners and community who help make this paw-sible. 💚🐱

🎄✨ The more the merrier! ✨🎄
We really meant it today—52 kitties rolled through Piedmont Animal Rescue - PAR, friendly, feral, and everything in between. More than usual, but Christmas said go big or go home.

No mistletoe make-outs turning into kittens, no jingle balls jingling, no surprise stockings filled with babies—just snipped, tipped, and living their best fixed lives.

🎁 All kittens are fixed, vaccinated, and ready to be found under the Christmas tree (way cuter than socks-see last pic).
Adopt. Don’t shop. 😏🐱🎅

🎅 Santa’s sleigh made a special stop in Rowan to team up with our Rowan Neuter Scooter elves!
What a day it was—lots of Snip-mas happening with tips and vaccines all around.
No more ho-ho-ho-ing for these felines… no late-night cat calls, no surprise litters… just silent nights. 😴 🐾🎄

🎁🐾 It felt like Santa’s sleigh was parked at the North Pole today at Stanly County Animal Protective Services! ❄️🎅
But the chilly temps didn’t slow us down one bit—35 adorable pups and kitties were spayed and neutered, all wrapped up with love and care.
Now that’s some holiday magic! ✨🐾

We could not have said it any better….it’s time for those TNR ferals to Ho-no-mo this Snip-mas season. Sign up is live and filling quickly.

If it isn't obvious - whew! This Snip-mas edition is filled! We look forward to seeing more of you after the New Year! 🎅🐾🎁 Snip-mas is almost here and SantaPaws says it's time for those ferals to Ho No Mo'! TNR Warriors & Colony Caretakers come see us to get those ferals sterile, tatted, and tipped! Help them start their new year by giving them the gift of health! 🎁🐾🎅

Community Cats from ANY county are welcome on Wednesday December 17th. Sign-up is open for Spay/Neuter spots at the reduced rate of $45 per cat.

MAX of 4 cats per caretaker/address. Space is limited. FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE.

No dogs this day and not for friendly, social felines - they have their own day. No cats in carriers, boxes, baskets, bags etc. TRAPS ONLY!

TNR'd cats for this clinic must come in an appropriate sized trap (average of 29-32 inches long) in GOOD condition - one cat per trap. No exceptions! There are limited traps for loan & priority is to those who have signed up & PAID.

IF you have kittens - ensure they're big enough - minimum of 12 weeks/3 lbs for their ✂️ day.

Complete the form AND PRE-PAY to secure your spot(s). PayPal is the accepted method of payment. You can always ask a friend or family member to send payment for you if you don't have PayPal.

Operation Snip-mas is in full swing! 🎄
Today 36 kitties became Lucky Cats, with Lake Norman Lucky Cat’s festive elves joining us at our North Pole workshop (aka Iredell County Animal Services). ❄️🐾🎄

🎄 Santa’s sleigh took us to the Rowan Neuter Scooter workshop where the theme was all about Snip-mas🎅

Santa checked his list twice and said,
“Yup… these 36 cats and 1 dog are getting FIXED before Christmas!” 🎅✨

Everyone got the full holiday tune-up today —
spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and officially ready to sleigh responsibly this season. 🛷🐾

No mistletoe mischief. 🎄
No late-night ‘ho-ho-ho’ hanky panky. 🥰
No surprise stocking stuffers in 2025. 😹🎁
Healthier beginnings to 2026. 🎉

Yesterday we had the honor of attending the 3rd Annual Giving With Grace Luncheon—and our hearts are full!

The Giving With Grace Foundation continues to uplift local nonprofits through funding that strengthens our entire community. We are so grateful to partner with them to distribute grants to our local nonprofit animal organizations helping reduce spay/neuter costs this year—and again next year!

We are beyond thankful for this partnership and the positive change it’s bringing to animal welfare across our community. 🐾✨

🎅🎁🎄It's beginning to look a lot like Snip-mas!! This clinic will be our last low-cost spay/neuter opportunity for your friendly kitty or small dog for this year! Give them the gift of a healthier, happier life and come celebrate Snip-mas with the Scooter!🎄🎁🎅
Wednesday December 10th, sign up is open! Complete the online form AND pre-pay to secure your spot. Open to residents of ANY county, no restrictions. Sign-up is open until all spots have filled.
• Friendly, social pets under 6 years old. Small dogs only, under 40 lbs. No smushy-faced breed of cat or dog. Kittens 12 weeks/3 lbs minimum. Puppies generally 16 weeks of age, or per breed specific guidelines.
• Rowan County Animal Shelter vouchers are accepted for adopted shelter pets. Voucher is applied to surgery cost only - all other fees & services are due.
• Friendly Cats must arrive in hard-sided carriers ONLY (absolutely NO traps, fabric, mesh, back-pack, stroller, wire, bubble, cardboard, etc.)
• One cat per carrier for their safety & recovery.
• No unsocialized cats, "spicy", or feral cats accepted on this date.
• Small Friendly Dogs must have on a secure collar & be leashed (per our County law).
• Limit of 3 pets per family.
Surgery Costs:
• Dog Spay: $160 | Dog Neuter: $125
• Cat Spay: $85 | Cat Neuter: $70
• Additional services available for added cost
