Easter Monday = Cat Cuddles at Pawsome Treasures Thrift Shop!

The kitties had a purr-fect day with a surprise visit from Dr. Welch’s daughter, Anna—aka the Snuggle Queen! Extra love, extra chin scratches, and lots of happy tails.

TNR Thursday with Iredell County Animal Services

Since February, we’ve snipped and tipped nearly 200 feral cats—and the impact is already showing. Today, the team shared that they’re seeing fewer kittens in foster care thanks to all the spay/neuter efforts.

Not a shelter event, but this IS a collaborative effort with Giving with Grace, Lucky Cats and Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic for low-cost spay/neuter clinic for both owned and unowned community cats!
While this clinic will be held on location here at the shelter, you MUST register with the agencies doing it by either scanning this QR code or clicking the link below for more information!
There are SO MANY PREGNANT FEMALE CATS right now, as these three organizations have received a large percentage of female cats at their most recent low-cost clinics, who were indeed pregnant. Notably most recently, from one single colony alone, 10 of the 13 cats who were trapped were pregnant females! Many of these kittens from these colonies will experience significant suffering, while the ones who do survive, will be left without homes.
We can't stress this enough, "PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PET CATS' or work with us and these awesome groups to execute TNR!

Don't wait!! NOW IS THE TIME! Lucky Cats and Community Pets Mobile Vet Clinic will be back again in Statesville on Friday, April 11th for low-cost kitty spay-neuters for both pets and unowned community cats.

Wed April 9th is the date for the next reduced rate clinic, at $45 per kitty! This continues to be made possible by the generosity of the Giving With Grace Foundation
(No dogs this day - they can come on another day with their friendly feline companions. No cats in carriers, boxes, baskets, or bags. TRAPS ONLY!)
Community Cats for this clinic must come in an appropriate sized (29-32 inch long) SECURE trap -one cat per trap.
Complete the form *AND* pre-pay to secure your spot(s). PayPal is the accepted method of payment. You can always ask a friend or family member to send for you if you don't have a PayPal.
Unpaid spots will be released. MAX of 4 cats per caretaker/address. Space is limited. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
