Ellen's Pet Treats I make dog and cat treats in my kitchen in Charlotte, North Carolina, using all "people" food. You I make dog, puppy, cat and kitten treats in my home.

Our wonderful pets are such a vital part of the family I think they deserve homemade treats, not just store-bought ones with chemical preservatives and fillers of various kinds. You know how easily you can tell the difference in a homemade fresh cookie over one that came from the grocery store in a package. When you start with all fresh ingredients, mix them with love and bake them to perfection i

n your own oven, you KNOW the taste will be better than anything you can find in a store! I make a variety of flavors that pets really enjoy, using real peanut butter, cheese, bacon, apples, bananas, blueberries, mashed potatoes, beef, salmon, etc. Please go to my website to see a number of the tastes available. I don't use any chemical preservatives in making these. Rather, I keep all the baked treats in a very slow oven for hours to thoroughly dry them. This way they stay fresh as long as possible. I do recommend keeping the treats in the refrigerator or even the freezer for the longest freshness. I ship all orders by Priority Mail that are to an address farther than 20 miles from Charlotte . Those within 20 miles I will deliver for a small fee.
