Boones Farm & Stables Riding Lessons- Training -Sales We teach beginner & private lessons in an indoor arena that provides for all weather riding. Ashley Isenhower also trains.

Boone’s Farm and Stables was founded in 1981 by the Boone family and specializes in Riding Lessons for all ages and the training and sales of American Saddlebreds, Hackney ponies and Standardbred horses. Our instructors are "American Riding Instructors Association" certified. We specialize in not only riding, but complete horsemanship as well. Paul Boone is the Owner/Trainer and Betsy Boone serves

as Riding Instructor. Dr. Mary Gochanhour is our veterinarians and Frosty Bueke is the farrier. Our staff of caretakers along with trainers and instructors lives onsite to provide round the clock care for the horses. We are centrally located 15 minutes from Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Concord and University Area, a short drive up the interstates from Charlotte. For riding lessons please call 704-796-3057
Unfortunately we don’t offer public trail rides.

What is the definition of excellence? Consistency in achievement, outstanding performance and the completion of goals. Boones Farm and Stables demonstrated this quality throughout the Blowing Rock Charity Saddlebred Show repeating for the second year as winners of the Susan G. Whittington Peak of Excellence Award as the winningest Trainer of the show! A program built on high quality and high expectations achieves excellence! Congratulations to all the Boone’s riders and horses who helped earn this honor!

Today we celebrate 🎉 🎊🎂the 27th Birthday of CF’s Chief’s Put Out The Fire-our beloved, Chief. Chief was born on this day in 1998 At Caughman Farms in Eastover, SC. Chief is an amazing horse who has been a teacher to so many people from tiny tots to adults. Chief has made victory passes in every arena he’s shown in. All the while teaching his riders to love the sport. Chief’s efforts were rewarded with his induction into the School Horse Hall of Fame at Academy Nationals. Chief has played a role in helping so many to live their dreams whether it be a first time show class or preparing a rider to show at Louisville, Chief is always there quietly teaching all the way. Those who have shown Chief have gone on to great things whether it be an Academy Nationals Championship, World Champion of Champions title, or lead line debut. Chief always rises to the occasion. Some of Chief’s riders have gone on to careers in the horse world, as well. Beyond all that he is accomplished in the show ring he is a treasured part of Boone’s Farm and Stables.
