HOUNDS, why our basset hounds

Our love of the breed is the driving force behind the high-quality purebred pups we produce. Our basset pups are socialized, well-adjusted and healthy.

All our parents are raised by us from puppy to adults. We pick girls from our own litters to become future moms. This is one way we protect the integrity of the RusBud bloodline. All of our future dads are 100% European and come from some of the world’s finest Show Dog Breeders. We are very proud of the RusBud Bloodline and the quality of pups we offer our new parents to be.

Our bassets are divided into 2-groups of the RusBud bloodlines. Our oldest group has a little more size and looks more in line with the European appearance. Our younger group has a more traditional look. Although the pups from these 2 lines are very similar, they have some subtle differences.

Our puppies are now in the 4th generation of the RusBud bloodline. We are now raising the next generation of parents. These new bassets will be the 5th generation and will be available in fall 2019.
