This handsome gentleman isn’t just easy on the eyes — he’s a total dream when it comes to office etiquette. Belvedere is chill, confident, and incredibly well-behaved in public spaces. Whether you’re on a Zoom call, grabbing lunch downtown, or heading to the copy machine, he’ll be right by your side, charming everyone he meets.

🎉 Welcome, Canyon! 🎉

Meet our newest Daisy Bean pup — Canyon! 💛 This big-hearted boy was #2 on the euthanasia list at Columbia Animal Services due to space… but thanks to a foster stepping up just in time, his life was saved. Now, he’s safe, loved, and finally getting his second chance. 🥹✨

When Canyon arrived at the shelter in mid-April, he was only 37lbs, covered in pressure sores and hot spots, and in heartbreaking condition. 💔 But look at him now — he left the shelter weighing a healthy 67lbs, and he’s already thriving in his foster home!

🧸 Canyon loves his stuffies, squeaky toys, and bones. He’s playful and goofy with the most adorable bunny hops when he’s excited! While he enjoys playing, we are working on bite inhibition, so we’d recommend a home without small kids for now.

💔 Canyon is still healing — emotionally and physically. He’s very scared of loud noises, and it’s clear he’s recovering from something painful in his past. But despite it all, this gentle soul continues to show how sweet and expressive he truly is. His puppy dog eyes could melt anyone.

He’s good in the crate, seems to be potty trained, and walks great on a leash. He’s a submissive, dog-friendly boy who just wants love and a soft place to land.

Attention friends and trainers:

We are desperately searching for trainers who specialize in fear aggression based in the eastern NC area. We have a sweet one year old girl who needs some help getting past certain fear based triggers in order to make her adoptable. We have had the hardest time getting trainers to respond to us, so seeking trainers or anyone with connections to a trainer in the area that may have availability to take her on (bonus if they offer 501c3 pricing!).

FREEDOM RIDE FOR CANYON!

Canyon has been pulled to safety thanks to an absolutely amazing foster family! He was just at immediate risk due to lack of space at Columbia Animal Services and now he is on the road to living his best life!

🌟 Artie’s still living up to his Golden Boy status! 💛

This handsome gentleman has settled into his new foster home in Goldsboro, NC, and he’s already made a new best friend—his foster bro, Dino! 🐾 The two of them are having a blast together, trading toys, sharing sunspots, and swapping stories. Dino’s been telling Artie all about how amazing it is to find your forever family, and Artie is so ready for that next chapter.

Artie is the total package:
✨ 1 yr old Great Pyrenees Mix
✨ 80lbs, neutered, & microchipped
✨ Crate/Potty trained
✨ Great with other dogs (even small dogs!)
✨ Kid Friendly
✨ HW-, UTD on vaccines & preventatives
✨ LOVES people—especially when belly rubs are involved!
✨ Big puppy energy - highly trainable
