New Owner, Same Products, still handmade in the USA!

Your favorite Houndstown nylon harnesses, collars and leashes will be available effective 4/25/25 at a new Etsy shop called HoundstownLLC by visiting https://houndstownllc.etsy.com

As a devoted Houndstown customer for several years I noticed, sadly, that Houndstown products were no longer available in 2023. I contacted the owner, Chris Carpenter, to see if I could help keep his great products available. Chris agreed that I could help with making the products with plans to eventually transfer ownership to me.

In January 2024 I started being responsible for making the Houndstown nylon products and also working with the truly wonderful Houndstown customers.

I couldn't be happier to continue making and offering these exceptional sighthound products for you through my new Etsy shop, established in April 2025!

The new shop's opening date is planned for 4/25/25.

Christmas In July, And BIG Houndstown News!!

First off, let's start with the BIG news!! Houndstown has a new co-owner, and a great addition to the team! Many of you in the skinny dog world may already know Eileen Davies, through greyhounds or through orders placed through Houndstown over the last 6 months. A journey that began nearly a year ago, with Eileen contacting us regarding our Etsy store being on a temporary break. Through many discussions, and several multi-day meetings, an agreement was made, and Eileen came on board as a co-owner, with an 18 month timeline to transition the business entirely to her ownership. Eileen lives in Georgia with her husband and 3 black greys, and is so excited to take the reins of Houndstown and steer it into the future! She has now been running the operations for over 6 months, so if you've ordered from us since the beginning of the year, you have already been working with her behind the scenes!! I will stay on for the foreseeable future, to ensure a smooth 100% transition, and will serve in an advisory capacity as long as she will keep me around!
