It was a HOT horse show weekend at Stable View, but we worked hard to keep the horses cool and as comfortable as possible.
LHE brought 17 horses and riders! HUGE thanks to all the humans who helped keep us on track (Adan, Govanni, and Jessica especially!)
🌱 - LH Mint Julep - N - I rode Mint in his first ever horse trial and he finished on his dressage score in the middle of the pack. He was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for more from him. Mint marched around SJ and XC like a horse who’s done this many times before. Our dressage test showed improvement in the areas we have been working on at home, and I am excited for our next outing together!
My clients had super rides this weekend, too!
🥉 - Lisdara HSH - N - Madison Strom and Owl knocked it out of the park for their move-up this weekend! The pair finished on their dressage score of 30.6. I am so proud of Maddie for conquering this weekend! Owl was foot perfect (as usual). Congrats!
🩷 - RREF Rubix - N - Evan Harris and Rubix also had a successful move-up weekend to N! A beautiful dressage score (24.2) had them sitting in 2nd place heading into SJ. They picked up some penalties there, but jumped double clear XC to earn 6th!
🤓 - LH Peter Parker - N - Peyton James and Peter laid down a lovely dressage test (29.2), but 2 rails in SJ pushed them out of the ribbons this time. Double clear XC - on to the next!
💛 - Jenesis HF - N - Shannon Reid and Trigger are putting the pieces together in dressage and I am excited to see their progress. They finished on their dressage score to earn 6th. Congrats you two!
🖤- Moments Like This - N - Janna James and Mo also moved up this weekend. After laying down a really nice dressage test (33.1), they gave a solid effort in SJ and XC and kept learning new pieces of the puzzle. I have zero doubt these two will conquer their move-up with more practice and persistence. I am proud of them both!
🩰 - LH Dancing Steps - BN - Jennifer Schott and Demi had a major breakthrough in the dressage ring, knocking 10+ points off their last scores, earning a 30.6! 1 rail in SJ and double clear XC earned them 6th. SO happy for you, Jennifer!
💛 - Ton of Gold - Starter - Michele Poulter and Toni had a fantastic weekend and I am so happy for their continued progress! They added just a touch of time XC to an overall wonderful day!
🕵️♀️ - Agent 99 - Starter - Kayla Victor and Dori had a lovely weekend together, with calm, consistent rides in every phase. This was their first HT together! Dori is a lovely mare, and Kayla's work to grow their partnership is evident with each outing!
🌊 - Ondine - Starter - Morgan Spring and Ondine showed a lot of growth from their last HT. It was a fantastic weekend of bravery from both Morgan and Ondine!
🥇 - LH Coffee First - Starter - Irina Bridges and Dunkin earned their very first blue ribbon together this weekend at the their first show together! They finished on their dressage score and I couldn't be happier for the progress these two have shown in such a short amount of time knowing each other! Dynamic duo!
💍 - LH Marrying Kind - Starter - Madison Easton and Annie were wonderful all weekend, adding just 1 rail to their score! This was Madison's first HT and Annie took excellent care of her, as usual! Congrats!
🤎- Theodore - Starter - Theo and Emma Bergeron had a KILLER xc school on Saturday, practicing some BN combos and really nailing it. Theo decided it was too hot on Sunday to run around and jump and they retired on XC. I am very proud of Emma. She is a young rider with a lot of grit and talent, and she put her horse first this weekend. Good job, Emma!
💜- LH Gonna Be Popular - Starter - Peyton James piloted Elf around her very first horse show ever. A little drift out of the dressage ring due to a young horse moment caused them to be eliminated, but Elf was excellent all weekend. It's easy to see she will continue to be a fun, easy gal to produce!
🥉 - King Arthur - Sprouts - Devan Durham and Arthur had a fabulous weekend together, finishing on their dressage score in their first HT! These two are so fun to watch together, and always produce great results!
🤍 - LH Malovat - Sprouts - Allie Danile and Jasper had a wonderful weekend. This was Allie and Jasper's first show together. He was steady as them come all weekend, taking good care of Allie as they navigated every phase. Just one rail in SJ for these two. Congrats!
🥇- LH Bel Romano - Sprouts CT - Savanna Michaux and Roman were absolutely a pleasure to watch all weekend. This was their second show together, and their partnership is kind, soft and patient. I am so proud of them both. They finished on their dressage score. Congrats!
