Today marks the difficult goodbye to our lovely Wire Hair Pointing Griffon, Jolene. Her life of 13 years was tragically cut short by liver failure, which she suddenly developed last Tuesday. As some of you may recall, Jolene's dear friend Gretchen passed away on October 6th, leaving Jolene to grieve deeply. Despite her sorrow, Jolene was still able to enjoy her pool and sandbox with the camp children yesterday. In a heart-wrenching moment, Jolene made her way to the porch this morning to bid farewell to everyone. Our family will deeply cherish the memories of Jolene, whose unwavering loyalty and friendship made her an exemplary farm dog.

Joel experienced a fall from a ladder at our residence yesterday evening, resulting in a femur fracture. He is currently at Baptist hospital in Winston, awaiting a full hip replacement procedure today. Thank you for your prayers, calls and text messages.

Camp will be open all week from June 9 to June 13.

Our camp will operate on a normal schedule this week with a full staff in place. Kristen Beaver, Jayla, and my mother will ensure that all activities run smoothly. Joel was unfortunately involved in an accident and was transported by ambulance to Baptist Hospital. We do not have any additional information at this time. Josh and I have yet to visit him or receive any updates. Please keep Joel in your prayers. We will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available. Thank you for the numerous calls and text messages; however, we do not have any additional information to share at present.

Yes, the Bible mentions God returning on a white horse in Revelation 19:11-16. This scene describes Jesus as the rider, "Faithful and True," judging and making war in righteousness. He is followed by the armies of heaven, also on white horses, and is depicted as clothed in a robe dipped in blood, with a sharp sword coming from his mouth. My Daphney is feeling pretty bad today! Don’t know what the future holds for her but not looking to promising. I hope God returns to earth riding my Daphney one day. She is the best horse I have ever known. She will be a perfect ride for you Jesus.

Happy heavenly 28th birthday my sweet cowboy Corey Beaver. It's amazing how time flies, from riding JB across the horse farm to now inspiring us from above. We miss and love you deeply. May heaven be filled with horses and cowboys, and when Jesus returns, riding a white horse, may you ride alongside Him. Love Mrs. Lisa.
