Merry Christmas to all! This year was different for us, full of challenges. I took off the majority of the year to help care for ailing family in their time of need. Once I resumed I really wondered what the state of my business would be, it was mid November before I found myself getting regular hours again. Between my absence and the state of the economy I had serious doubts I would bounce back. Then Winterfest: A Christmas Marketplace, Spencer, NC 2025 happened, l and I was reminded why I love that event. On Saturday the second day of the show, in about a 2-3 hour span I did more projects with kids and adults alike than I did in all 3 days the previous year. Seeing the excitement and just unadulterated joy of my participants lifted a weight I wasn't even aware I was carrying. Ethan and I almost completely sold out, making it the most successful show I had ever done. I've been blessed beyond measure in my life. I've got an amazing wife, 2 sons and 2 bonus daughters. The family my wife and I have made means more to me than I can ever express. To be a small part of our communities Christmas joy brought back the wonderful feeling of a magical Christmas. Thank you all for sharing your Christmas season with us, thank you all for your support this year. It really means more to me than I can express to be able to do what I do. To be able to setup in the small town of Spencer and share my art, and passion with you and your children is a blessing beyond measure.... With that I leave you with a simple message, be kind. Sometimes the most simple act of kindness can have the biggest impact on a person's life.
