The dehydration test is done on the “tiny bite” size of our PB and Banana Sandwich treat.
I tested in 3 different ways…dehydrator, convection oven on 170, and toaster over on dehydrator setting. There was absolutely no difference! Started at 2 hours, added another hour, and finally settled on 4 hours.
Next will try the regular size treat which is the same triangular shape, but an inch height.
I’m also considering a soft option in a “treat sheet” form that would be a 6x9” sheet straight out of the oven that you could pinch off the size you want. Would that interest anyone? I was thinking for older dogs, or teething puppies, or dogs that might have oral issues and can’t bite into a crunchy treat.
