POV: The hardest part of this job, saying goodbye to my animals esp my girl, Allie Ray🤎
Before I walk out the door, I tell her how pretty she is, ask her to please be a good girl, and give her the very important job of keeping the kitties in line (especially Rosie).
Most people see the cuddles, the happy pups, the adorable check-in photos. What you don’t always see is this part… the moment I close the door behind me and leave my own fur babies to go love on someone else’s.
Obviously, this isn’t every sitter’s life, but it’s mine. A choice I made, and just one of the many sacrifices I make to be great at what I do 🤗
Professional pet sitting isn’t just a job. It’s trading our own routines, our own homes, and our own little families to make sure yours feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. That’s a big piece of why we charge what we charge — because what we give is more than time. It’s our presence, our heart, and sometimes a little piece of home we’re missing ourselves.
