🚨WARNING - 6 recalls in 18 months🚨
Salmonella & Listeria contamination - Blue Ridge Beef ⚠️

Our considered position at Dog Food Advisor is that any dog food brand can have a recall - in some cases, it is actually indicative of brands doing their due diligence and testing their products! 🔬

However, we take a different tack when we see repeat offenders... like Blue Ridge Beef. 🚫

In the last 18 months, this brand have had 6 recalls for Salmonella & Listeria contamination. 😳 Eating foods containing these bacteria can make some dogs very sick, and having dog foods in your home containing these bacteria is also a risk to adults & children. ❗

It would be nice to hear from the brand that they are taking more steps to prevent contaminated pet foods from being sent for sale... but when we reached out to Blue Ridge Beef to ask how they were addressing the issue, they did not reply. 📧 ❌

Anytime we determine a particular manufacturer has become a high risk, repeat offender… their products are immediately removed from our Best Dog Foods pages. So, you know you can trust that the foods we recommend are as safe as possible for your beloved pet.
