Lost Fantasy Rescue is based out of foster homes throughout SW Virginia. We have do not have a physical shelter/facility, so all meet & greets must be scheduled in advance. We pull from local open intake shelters as well as accepting owner surrendered animals. We work with the community to offer help with spay/neuter assistance as well as food & vetting to keep pets in their home thus preventing t
hem from entering the shelter system. We work with out of state shelters to send dogs/cats from this area to other areas with a higher adoption rate. All puppies & kittens are held by us for a minimum for 3 weeks to be brought UTD on shots & spayed/neutered PRIOR to adoption to the public. Our adoption process includes said application, reference checks, vet checks, an informal home visit, a meet and greet, as well as an adoption contract and fee/donation.
