East Lake Veterinary Hospital at Center Ranch has its roots in the original Center Ranch community created by Finis Welch. Over many years, this magical facility was home to tirelessly devoted horse, cattle, and small animal enthusiasts. Known for its reproductive services and state of the art surgical and patient care, East Lake Veterinary Hospital is currently rebuilding the team that will serve many communities in Texas. East Lake Veterinary Hospital has been serving Texas residents since 1993 providing the best surgical, medical, in-patient, and lodging care for a variety of species. The East Lake team is pleased to expand to Centerville, Texas to fill the need created when this well known facility originally closed at the end of 2021. Fun times and lots of shared education happened with the students of ELKHART’s Agricultural studies program led by Mr. Chase. The team at East Lake Veterinary Hospital at Center Ranch enjoys working with young people planning their future careers.

Student visitors participated in blood draws, ultrasound & pregnancy diagnosis, and participated in operating room experiences first hand.

A memorable day was had by all! The futures are bright for these talented students!

Fun times were had with veterinary professionals from across the country at Joe T Garcia’s at the VMG Managers national meeting hosted East Lake Veterinary Hospital.

Fellowship, and idea sharing for the best patient and client care practices were shared by all, and the opportunity to work in the best profession on earth was celebrated.

For East Lake team members, there is no greater gift than to care for man, or woman’s best friend, or to make a difference in the life of a farmer or rancher or equestrian. We live to serve each unique animal, and the people who care about them.

Welcome to the teachers and students of the Buffalo High School HOSA program who visited East Lake Veterinary Hospital at Center Ranch.

This was the highest participation of students so far who came to learn about careers in veterinary medicine. The students toured the grounds and facilities, learned about medicine, surgery, animal behavior and safe animal handling, reproduction and they were the first members of the public to view the new event center at East Lake.

East Lake is committed to mentoring young people who are interested in working with animals and the public. Veterinary medical careers range from hands on animal care to pharmacy, laboratory, leadership and beyond. To learn more, call or visit East Lake 7 days a week . We are here to help!

Thank you to the entire East Lake at Center Ranch team who have worked tirelessly to welcome veterinary professionals from across the country and around the world this past weekend! East Lake hosted members of VMG and veterinary students from around the world at all 3 campus locations.

East Lake is proud to be a member of VMG, the largest organization of private, non-corporate veterinarians and managers, committed to excellence in practice.

The East Lake at Center Ranch team enjoyed sharing a carriage ride, driven by East Lake’s resident Belgian draft horses, led by Kelly and Jesse.

Visitors from the main East Lake Campus along with veterinary student Externs from Canada and South America were in attendance and a good time was had by all!
