A big thank you to Kelsi Morgan, one of our very own Chiefland Rotarians for taking the time to speak with our club! We loved hearing about her new office opening and her passion for functional medicine—helping patients get to the root cause of their health concerns rather than just treating symptoms. 🌿

It’s always inspiring to hear from local professionals who are making a positive difference in our community’s health and wellness. We wish you all the best, Kelsi, as you begin this exciting new chapter! Check out her page: Cornerstone Health and Wellness!

The A-Team from the Chiefland Rotary Club had a workday this past Saturday to repair the Oz Barker batting cage at Chiefland High School.

They repaired the netting, installed backstops for the baseballs, and did some repairs on the fencing. More work to come in the future.

A few weeks ago, we were honored to have Lieutenant Adam Hiers join us at Rotary. He shared important updates on the proactive steps being taken by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office and the State of Florida to keep our schools safe from active shooters and other dangerous threats.

We are grateful for his time, dedication, and the hard work of our law enforcement officers who are committed to protecting our students, teachers, and communities. Thank you, Lieutenant Hiers, for your leadership and for keeping school safety a top priority. 💙🖤

This past week at the Chiefland Rotary Club, we had the pleasure of hearing from Monica Williams with Friends of Children of North Central Florida a non profit organization that raises funds to offer hope and help through Christ-centered support. Monica shared the incredible work their organization is doing to support single mothers in the Tri-County area, including weekly gatherings at local churches that provide encouragement, mentorship, and community.

She also highlighted the powerful impact of the Feeding Chiefland initiative, led by First United Methodist Church of Chiefland, which is making a real difference by helping families in need right here in our hometown.

We’re grateful for Monica’s passion and dedication, and proud to learn more about the positive change happening in our community. 💙

Our 21st Annual Fishing Tournament was a huge success this year! We are so thankful for our faithful sponsors, the anglers that show up year after year to support this tournament and all the members that work hard to make this weekend happen. This tournament would not be possible without those folks! This year we also want to give a huge shout out to our friends at Low-Key Hideaway and Tiki Bar for hosting the Captain’s Dinner! They went over and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch while going through an emergency situation of their own.
Thank YOU!!

Today is the day!! In just a few short hours we will kick off the 21st Annual Chiefland Rotary Fishing Tournament! And we couldn’t be more excited!

Just a reminder this year’s captains dinner will be held at the Low-Key Hideaway and Tiki Bar!

Things might look a little different tonight than years past so in advance we would like to apologize for any inconvenience and thank everyone for their understanding and grace.

It’s no secret that parking is a precious commodity on the island, and tonight is no different. If possible, we encourage our anglers to carpool or use the Tiki Taxi 352-605-8658 call or text!

Please keep in mind that the Tiki Bar is an over 21 establishment. We do have a designated area for any guests that are under 21.

We look forward to the seeing old friends and making new ones this weekend!
