Every single week in lessons! My response is always “you absolutely can canter! Once you know how to trot…” 😂 Just wait until you trot AND steer through an equitation pattern 🤯🤪
But, when they’re hungry for it, it makes it so much more fun!

Jade Valley peeps, don’t forget we swapped our paint party to this afternoon! I’ll be out there painting from 4:00 until we are finished so if you’re only able to come later, text me to be sure we still have poles to paint!

A couple of my favorite moments from lessons this past week (what few I was able to give due to the rain):

Me to student who is working to overcome fear after a fall: “ok talk to me! How are we feeling right this second?”
Student: “I feel much confidenter!!” 😍 Adorable.

Another student hosing off Harvey after her lesson: “oooo he looks like a glazed horse donut!!” 🤣
She’s not wrong, though!! I will always see the glossy, wet horses as donuts now!

I hope everyone’s weekend is as good as Ghost’s belly scrubs! He was so thankful for Hannah’s grooming to itch all his itchies! It kept us entertained!
