The Radiant Juvenile Enrollment

There is a special kind of magic in a Gem that has moved past the nursery but kept every ounce of puppy wonder.

Currently, we have two older Gems—Phoenix and Saffron—who are looking for their Legacy families. While they have the physical maturity of a junior dog, they are still very much "puppy-minded." They are hyper-social, high-energy, and possess that classic Dachshund sparkle that keeps you on your toes.

They have begun their Sapphire Tier foundations (including the "Sit" command), but in their excitement, they often forget their manners in favor of a joyful jump. They are the perfect fit for an active family who wants to skip the 8-week-old fragility but is ready to dive into the fun, "wild-child" phase of teenage training.

As the sun sets on our final weekend in the Pacific Northwest, we are preparing to close the "Jewel Box" for our transition to the desert. While our journey south begins soon, our public enrollment for local Oregon homecomings concludes this evening.

The RockinDachs Legacy is returning to its roots. This week marks our final days in the Pacific Northwest as we prepare to relocate our "Jewel Box" to the iconic red rocks of Cane Beds, Arizona. This journey brings our program full circle, returning to the landscapes where our vision first began. 🏜️

The 7-Day Oregon Window

To ensure a smooth transition for our family and our Gems, we are closing local Oregon homecomings in exactly 7 days. If you are a PNW family currently on our Legacy List or have been waiting to welcome a companion without the need for air travel, this is your final opportunity for a Cave Junction or Medford (MFR) homecoming.

After this week, all evaluations and placements will pause until we are fully established in our new Arizona sanctuary. We are trading the pines for the desert sun, and we couldn't be more excited for this next chapter. 💎

The Warm Spice Homecoming

Our Saturday was spent focused on the safe relocation of the Warm Spice litter from Washington to their new home here in Cave Junction, Oregon. Transitioning a litter requires time, patience, and a focus on their emotional well-being, and we are thrilled to report they have settled in beautifully.
With this relocation comes the next phase of their development. We are proud to share that these Gems have already mastered two major milestones: utilizing the dog door and settling calmly in a closed crate.

Evaluation & Enrollment
Currently, the Warm Spice litter remains at our Sapphire Tier. This is the ideal window for families who wish to be the primary architect of their puppy’s continued training and bonding.
As these pups continue to meet our 4-Point Check milestones and progress in their crate and potty conditioning, they will eventually graduate to the Emerald Tier. Once a Gem advances, their enrollment investment increases to reflect their higher level of education and competency.

The Path to Radiant

Every legacy has a beginning. While our journey started with our founding females, it was Dexter and Quake who truly breathed revival into the RockinDachs line. They brought the structural integrity and the spirited temperament that define every Gem we raise today.

Today, that standard is carried forward by June, our Matriarch. June represents the perfect balance of a solid, athletic build and a playfully affectionate heart. She is a devoted mother and a calming presence in our nursery, passing her "sweet-soul" energy down to the next generation.

Behind the scenes in Cave Junction, we are constantly evaluating the past to ensure the future of our puppies is bright. We are proud to share this history with you as we prepare for our upcoming Saturday Spotlight. 💎
