In December of last year, a veteran approached us in need of a service animal and our friends at the Scheffel-Anderson Charitable Family Fund immediately said yes and sponsored this veteran service dog team. We searched for the right pup and found her at the Humane Society of Fremont County. This is where the story of PAWS Luna began.

8 months later, thanks to the incredible effort of her veteran, this service dog team passed their final certification, Public Access, today. Congratulations to Jaime and Luna!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

Our very own PAWS Donut, of ThorntonPD , took on his latest challenge this morning at Park Meadows mall and he passed his Canine Good Citizen, Canine Good Citizen Advanced, Community Canine, Therapy Dog, and Public Access Tests with both of his handlers. This amazing pup has been working hard and we’re proud of his progress!!!

Our friends at BoxDrop Mattress & Furniture Castle Rock, CO sure didn’t mess around. They set out to raise money and support PAWS and they over achieved! We are so grateful to them for their amazing efforts, PAWSome staff, and incredible support of our veterans, dogs, and programs!
