The PAWSome Sauce Fundraiser at Iron Mule Brewery has concluded and we are so grateful to Iron Mule and our Community for the overwhelming support this received.

Over $3000 was raised for ConnorsK9-PAWS' veterans, service dogs, and programs during this fundraiser!!!

Douglas County Sheriff’s Department Therapy Dog Leo has been working hard with our program to pass his certifications. While Leo has already achieved the AKC Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advanced Community Dog certifications, his impulse control has sometimes had puppy moments. Today in the middle of a local senior center, Leo calmly maintained his stays with treats on his paws and patiently waited until allowed to visit with all his fans. We’re proud of his progress and the team success with Deputy Falkner as his handler.

For they are the reason we have the freedoms we embrace and celebrate today. May they all rest in peace and never be forgotten. Until Valhalla!

The 2025 PAWS Ruck March has concluded and we are beyond grateful for all of the amazing people, businesses, and community members who stepped up and made this mission a success!

We are proud of all the participants, safety teams, volunteers, and checkpoint locations for their immense efforts throughout this week and their service to PAWS and veterans in our community!

We are extremely grateful for the support of our community. January’s PAWS for a Cause event has concluded and we’ve begun collecting the bins. Over the month we received approximately 1200lbs of varying dog food, dog treats that will last a month, hundreds of towels and blankets, FIVE bins of stuffed animals, over 100 dog toys, collars, leashes, and more.

Thank you to all who participated! We will announce the small business location that collected the most items this week!

This morning we were notified that a donation wouldn’t fit in the bin. That’s because it was driven down the street on a forklift! PAWS SD Sarge & his handler helped our founder and president, Michael, to accept this donation that was generously donated by Moore Lumber & Hardware - Castle Rock, CO into the Coast2Coast Meal Prep collection bin and ultimately into the PAWS truck. Nearly 1,000lbs of dog food.
