Treats so good it's like giving candy to a kid! Hello my name is Sheila -- mom, grandma, and dog mom to my German Shepherd Rebel. I am on disability and really needed something to do and also generate some extra income. This is what I love to do so I decided to go for it. I will not be going for pretty and fancy on daily treats the goal is healt
hy, nor will I be spending money on expensive cute packaging that just makes me have to up the cost and that is not what we want. I want to be able to offer healthy treats at a reasonable price. I believe in feeding your dog well including treats. I have always been very peculiar about what my best friend gets to eat so I started making my own treats back in 2006 when I got my German shepherd Nazareth featured in the profile picture she is the face of Prairie Paws Pastries and always will be. She was always happy, healthy and aged well. Of course she loved treats I wanted something that would also add nutrition to her diet not something full of additives, fillers and preservatives and who knows what else Soooo the baking began:) and now continues with Rebel and we would love to share the goodness with your BF. I focus on using ingredients that are super foods for dogs, my number one goal when creating dog treats is that they're healthy.
2. Every recipe I make uses only human-grade, quality, ingredients that are dog safe. If a flour is needed I use oat, brown rice, or whole wheat.
3. Of course, just like humans, some dogs have health issues like allergies which means they have dietary restrictions. If this is your situation please message me there are substitutions and recipes that could accommodate.
4. Treats are baked, cooled then froze for maximum freshness as there are no preservatives.
5. Treats should be stored frozen (3-6 months) or in the fridge(2-3 weeks) the will be ok on the counter for a few days. I prefer to take a variety out for a couple days and keep in the fridge. Disclaimer:
