Upper Respiratory Issues

We are currently aware that other facilities have reported confirmed cases of upper respiratory issues among their guests or daycare play groups. At this time, we have not observed any signs of illness in our current guests or any reported cases from departed guest.

One advantage of our cabin accommodations is that they do not include shared spaces, more importantly communal air, which is often found in traditional kennels that upper respiratory illnesses tend to germinate.

However, we would like to highlight a potential concern: if a guest has recently visited a dog park, groomer, or veterinary clinic and is exposed to upper respiratory infections, there is a risk of transmission to our other guests through staff handling and interaction despite our best efforts and cleaning protocols.

We remain hopeful that these issues will not affect our cabin accommodations.

If your pet has attended daycare or visited the veterinarian recently, even for routine vaccinations, we kindly request that you consider boarding your pet at the facility where they have already been exposed. This precaution will help us minimize the risk of respiratory issues making their way to our cabins.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation efforts to ensure the safety of all our K9 friends!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of another long-time furry friend and cherished member of the 4paws family.

Sweet Zues has been a part of our lives for as long as I can remember. Over the past six years, we have shared countless joyful moments with one of our favorite Shepherds.

Zues was truly obsessed with balls; he could play for hours. There were many occasions when I returned home with a sore arm from throwing the ball repeatedly.

He loved to rummage through our toy box to find the perfect toy, which was always a ball, to bring over for us to throw.

As Zues aged, his body began to slow down. Although he wasn't up for the same level of fetching, he still adored carrying a ball in his mouth. We would continue to play fetch, but only throwing it a few feet instead of the long distances he used to enjoy.

He relished playing in the facility's large yards, where he could soar and chase after those balls.

We held this old man in such high regard, and our hearts are heavy for his family.

Zues leaves behind his beloved sister Zena, along with his fur parents. Our deepest condolences go out to the Gremps, as Zues was an exceptionally special fur baby.
