Hey everyone!
Our Reese boy is still on the hunt for a new permanent residence. He’s ended up much bigger than we expected, and is too tall to “service” our girls. He currently weighs about 18 pounds.
He’s a wonderful guy! He is active, playful, and eager to get attention. He’s a great jumper (not over fences, but can jump from the ground up into our arms for loves), and would do great in a more active home where he could run, hike, chase a ball, or chase some 10+ year old kids in the yard. He is not a laid back lap dog, and I don’t think he would do well in a less active home environment. He has had some trouble with his anger management with our other intact male when girls are in heat, but I don’t expext that to be a continued problem if his 🥜 disappear 😊 We’d be happy to set up a meet and greet though to ensure everyone gets along!
Reese is house trained and crate trained. Our dogs are “farm” dogs in a sense, so we don’t often have them on leash. He does do ok with this though when needed.
He is still intact, and his genetic testing has been competed. He is not a carrier for any genetic diseases, including IVDD. If you know someone looking for a male for breeding, I think he would be a great prospect still. He is AKC registered with full rights.
He’s 2.5 years old, so he has plenty of years to give to the right home! Please contact us if you think he may be a good fit for your home.
