✨ Heart officially full! ✨
Last week I traveled to New York City to mark my graduation from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, a journey that pushed me professionally and personally further than I ever expected. After months of intense, highly practical virtual classes, I finally got to meet my cohort, the faculty, and everyone behind the program in person; it felt like reuniting with lifelong friends! Together we swapped stories, shared dreams, and soaked up the unmistakable energy of NYC.
I’m still in awe that Goldman Sachs covered every expense, from tuition, travel, lodging, and even our snacks and meals, so we could focus 100% on learning and growing. Their generosity turned what might have been just coursework into a life-changing gift, and I will be forever grateful.
The program sharpened my business acumen for Odds & Ends, but it also did something deeper. It reminded me that growth isn’t only measured on spreadsheets. I’ve come home with a wider vision, stronger confidence, and a heart bursting with new friendships and ideas.
Speaking of ideas… you may have heard whispers about The Purrfect Cup Kitty Café in Cartersville. We’re still in the discovery phase (research, feasibility, all that fun stuff), but a tiny paw print may be on the horizon and a pop-up event for later this year is in the works! Stay tuned for details, because I can’t wait to share a cup of coffee and some kitty cuddles with you soon! ☕🐾
Thank you to my incredible Family, friends, and all those involved for cheering me on through every step of this adventure. Here’s to what’s next...for the business, for our community, and for all the cats (and humans) whose lives we hope to brighten. 💛
