📣📣Hello All! We have not posted cats or kittens for funding since late April because of actions by the new rescue coordinator (Amanda) at EVHS. She has completely blocked Betty from the EVHS rescue page, so that Betty cannot even see the page, much less comment. As most of you know, Betty performs miracles with rescue placement and has been the reason so many Bartow cats are alive today. Amanda is willing to “allow” the funding piece to continue, but I refuse to become an EVHS volunteer without the entire advocate group being allowed to participate. Meanwhile, many cats and kittens need to get out of Bartow AC, and the backlog grows daily. Amanda is not able to keep up with the demands of kitten season. We had hoped she would reconsider so that our advocate operations could return to normal. That has not happened, and Betty has apprised the county commissioner of the situation. We will provide updates and post cats if/when we can.
