HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎊✨
Tonight can be a BIG night for you and your pup. Fireworks, parties, and loud noises can be stressful, so here are a few simple ways to help keep your pets safe, calm, and cozy 🐾

Our New Year’s Eve Pet Safety Tips:

1️⃣ Burn off energy early 🏃‍♀️
Give your pup extra exercise or mental enrichment this afternoon so they’re more likely to snooze through the night 💤

2️⃣ Use calming support if needed
Calming chews, supplements, or vet prescribed medications can help ease fireworks anxiety.

3️⃣ Safe space = happy pup
Keep pets indoors and in a secure quiet room or kennel if needed. Fireworks can spook even the bravest dogs, so inside after dark is a must.

4️⃣ ID is critical ‼️
Make sure your pet is wearing ID tags and you have a current photo on your phone. No tag? In a pinch, write your phone number on duct tape and attach it to their collar tonight.

5️⃣ Block the boom 💥
Turn on the TV (Bluey gets a 10/10) or relaxing music to help drown out fireworks 🎶

🥁 FINALLY.....!!!!
We have begged and pleaded for someone to even FOSTER Missy after she was owner abandoned with us...

Missy was unhappy in such a chaotic environment and wanted more attention and less crazy... Such a sweet and beautiful girl.... But she is FIV+ which no doubt turned a lot of people off... but only because they didn't understand what it meant to have FIV, even though we explained it in detail in her bio, and really wouldn't change anything for her or her home...

We, a few weeks ago, and amazing woman reached out to me. She had recently lost her FIV+ kitty, and her boy Wilford, also an FIV+ ginger, was lonely and missing his friend.

It took Missy a few days to come out of bed shell in a new place, but everyone in the home understood that that was totally normal for an adult cat and gave her time she needed to feel comfortable and come around.... And she has!

Missy has been OFFICIALLY ADOPTED!
She sleeps on the bed with mom and Wilford at night and found herself her favorite window TV to watch 😻

Sometimes we ask ourselves why it takes so long for these wonderful babies to find their homes, but then we're reminded that the wait is always worth it in the end. The perfect match is out there, it's always just a matter of finding them. 😍

Happy Tails love bug. You will be missed, but we know you found what you've been looking for in your new life and you will be loved and spoiled completely!

Beautiful Nora is still looking for her FOREVER HOME! ❤

She's a 6 yo love bug who wants a human or two to snuggle.

She enjoys making new dog friends, car rides and splashing in the kiddie pool on days like today! She's very treat motivated and eager to please her human.
