After a nice little rain storm today, the piggies got out in the pasture and did what piggies do best! They're all trained to a single hot wire and can only root up a small portion. They sure love to play in the mud!

Our daily move of the cows! These are the yearnings and the 2 year olds.The 2 y.o.will be processed in July. They get excited when they see the polywire getting rolled up and revealing new pasture.

Ten little piggies arrived today! I love all the colors! They are so fun at this age! They are figuring out their new home. They will spend about a week in their enclosure and then we'll start rotating them on pasture. They are vaccination and antibiotic free and will be raised on pasture with organic, non-soy feed!

Living Hope Livestock is committed to regenerative practices. One way we do this is by daily moving our beef cows. It's so easy a 7 year old can do it! Only 30 minutes a day! The benefits are countless both for the cows and the pasture. We don't need to deworm any more...this year we even had the rainbow scarab dung beetle return!😄
