Who’s coming to see me?? Remember if I’m grooming your bird they need in a carrier and a towel for grooming. I don’t use the same towels on birds for so many reasons. But simply put would you use a towel someone else used?

This post was a hard one for me to make.

Frankie has been overlooked so many times. She NEVER has to leave our rescue—she will always have a safe place here—but I also don’t want her to spend the rest of her life in a rescue setting if there is an experienced, patient person out there who can give her the one-on-one attention she deserves.

Frankie has been through a lot. Before coming to us, she had been in multiple homes and multiple rescues. Because of that history, she is scared, hormonal, and understandably unsure of people.

But underneath all of that is a bird with SO much potential. ❤️

Frankie trusts me enough to let me reach into her cage and pet her. She will come out and step up for me. She wants that connection—but she needs someone who understands that trust takes time.

When Frankie becomes overstimulated, she can and will bite. We aren’t going to sugarcoat that. Her future person needs to be experienced with parrots, able to read body language, respect boundaries, and most importantly, not give up on her when things get difficult.

🌸 Frankie loves toys.
📺 She loves watching cartoons.
🎶 She loves music.
🗣️ She loves having someone sit and talk to her.
❤️ And she deserves someone willing to show her that a home can truly be forever.

I truly believe that with the right person, patience, consistency, boundaries, and LOTS of love, Frankie could absolutely bloom.

We aren’t looking for just any home for Frankie. We’re looking for her person.

Someone who doesn’t expect perfection. Someone who understands that rescue birds come with a past. Someone willing to celebrate the tiny victories and give her all the time she needs.

Until that person comes along, Frankie is safe and loved right here with us. 🦜💕

But maybe—just maybe—her person is reading this.

So I have a few different size cages open here so when you bring your bird or I pick up your bird for babysitting I can properly house/babysit your bird here. I have 3 cages of smaller sizes. Those are for finch/keets/love birds/green cheeks. Then I have an entire triple stack cage that can hold the larger species. Or you could bring your own. But either way I have a cage for what size bird I’m watching. These are all he 3 small species cages I use here…..

Everyone say 👋 to Fritz. This is one of my babies from yrs ago. I get the pleasure of babysitting and grooming on a normal basis. I don’t know how the original damage happened to Fritz beak. but it happened the day mom got Fritz from me. So it grows like this from the damage that happened. But I wanted to share Fritz before grooming pics and after. Fritz has the best mom. This is one of my happily ever after birds. Oh can this bird fly faster than a buller.

I can’t believe I have to post this. But if I babysit your bird or exotic pet you aren’t charged much. The price is upfront. If you can’t afford it please talk to me before hand. I barter sometimes. How are you going to have me watch your animals for over 2 weeks show up expecting your pet without some kind of payment? I don’t know 🤷 But please don’t be offended if you are dropping off your pet and have to sign a contract from now on. Seriously though!
