Westchester K-9 customizes all of our services to fit your specific needs to your dog. We believe in treating each dog and it's owner as an individual. After all, no two dogs are alike the same way no two people are alike. We draw from a wide range of tools and techniques to help facilitate reaching your training goals as well as vastly improving the relationship between you and your canine compan

ion. After working with one of our certified and knowledgeable trainers, not only will you have a better behaved dog, you will also have a greater understanding of how dogs learn and perceive the world, in addition to better handling skills to help your dog in any situation. We address any and all training matters such as leash pulling/reactivity, jumping, counter surfing, housebreaking, door bolting, running away, understanding property boundaries, retrieval, puppy imprinting and of course obedience. We also have programs for dogs exhibiting behavior issues like fear, aggression, resource guarding, anxiety, hyperactivity and socialization problems.

When should you start training your puppy? The minute you get your pup, training begins and they are learning every moment they are with you. Here are some of our new puppy clients learning good habits as early as possible. Henry is a 4 month old Golden Retriever, Frankie a 3 month old Schnoodle, Chewie is a 5 month old Australian Labradoodle and Ace is a 5 month Mini Aussiepoo. All have different personalities and behaviors but they are all learning to be the best dogs they can be. Starting early can prevent future problems. Also featured is Ozzie and Big Chewie because we like to help our puppies learn with older well balanced dogs who have been through training with us. Need some help? Let us know and we are happy to chat or set up a tour.

Our Story

Picture this:

You tell your dog to sit, he sits. You tell your dog to stay, she stays.

And after each command? Your dog looks to you to see what happens next.

No more chasing him down to leave the dog park.
