With over 15 years of experience across Europe, Asia, and North America, I use my experience and formal canine‑behavior education to help dogs and owners build trust, communication, and a stronger bond. Mary’s Dog Training, based in Cape Coral, Florida, is the result of a lifelong passion that began in 2010 in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. My journey continued across multiple countries as military
duty stations changed, allowing me to grow as a trainer and serve diverse communities. In Okinawa, Japan, I expanded my work under the name Cornerstone Canine, providing specialized training for military personnel and their families. During that time, I collaborated with military facilities to develop a dog therapy program that continued to benefit the community long after my departure. My passion then traveled with me to Nebraska and later to Sicily, Italy, where I continued offering obedience training and behavioral support. My mission is to help dog owners build a clear learning language with their pups through effective communication, structure, and trust. I believe it’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks — and never too late to strengthen the bond between you and your pet. Services include:
• Private basic obedience
• Behavioral modification
• Residential habituation (in‑home needs)
• Aggression and reactivity support
To be added soon:
• American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC) training and testing
I am proud of my high success rate and the lasting satisfaction of the clients and dogs I’ve had the privilege to work with across the world.
