Huge thank you to the Cambridge High School Vet Camp for hosting us last week! We had a blast hanging out with the elementary school students in the morning and the middle school students in the afternoon! 🦎🐢🕷️

This event was extra special. I asked my Dad to help me since my husband had to work. My Dad has always had a severe phobia of snakes but was happy to help as long as he didn’t have to interact with any of my snakes.
Towards the end of the camp, my Dad saw how much the kids loved Lucy, my Ball Python, and how friendly and docile she was. He told me that if the kids can do it so can he. For the very first time in his life, my Dad held a snake and enjoyed it!

As one of my teachers used to say, “Different is different, not bad, just different.” 😊🐍

We had so much fun at Playtime of Canton on Tuesday! It was Dinosaur week at camp and they had the coolest backdrop! 🦖🦕

Hi, and welcome to Katie’s Kritters. My name is Katie, and I have a passion for animals, specifically reptiles. I am a reptile hobbyist and have been keeping reptiles for over 10 years. I have over 30 pet reptiles, amphibians, and insects. I’ve volunteered with several organizations including Georgia Reptile Society and The Amphibian Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia. I have taken many classes in Herpetology (Study of Reptiles & Amphibians). I love teaching people about these incredible animals, especially kids. I offer birthday party services, school presentations, and summer camp services in the North Georgia area. While some of my animals are look only, others are hands on, and can be held.
