Important Notice for Clients – EHV Precautions

With the recent EHV outbreak
, we are putting extra biosecurity measures in place to help keep everyone’s horses safe. We appreciate your cooperation and honesty as we work through this together.

Effective immediately:
• Please notify me before I get out of the truck if your horse has left your property within the last 14 days.

• If your barn or horse is under quarantine or has had possible exposure, you must let me know right away. Your appointment will be rescheduled—no exceptions.

• As an added precaution, hands will be washed, clothing will be changed, and tools will be fully cleaned between every stop, regardless of exposure status.

These protocols are in place strictly for safety, and we truly appreciate everyone doing their part. If you have questions or need to adjust an appointment, please reach out.

It’s always a great feeling to see your work in action. A little client appreciation post, This client is special though. She is my very first client and I’m lucky to call her mine.

Massive abscess that has compromised the medial side of the hoof. I used a heart bar shoe to help alleviate the pressure and allow the frog to help bear weight throughout the healing proces. Pad applied to create space for cleaning & medication

Case of two abscesses that blew from both top and bottom. Shoe fitted with a pad to allow space to keep weight off the toe and give it a chance for healthy foot to grow and stabilize the hoof capsule.
